Job Summary
Equinix Enterprise Data management team is looking for a Sr. MDM Engineer to be part of MDM Engineering team for the design, development & deployment of master data deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the technical design, development, testing, and deployment of MDM objects including hierarchies, workflows, match & merge, survivorship rules, data import / export, batch processes, visualization, and user interface design

• Collaborating with various technical & BSA teams to capture requirements and design, configure, document, and develop objects, rules, and reference data tables

• Creating master data and process flows to graphically depict the master data domain’s architecture components

• Researching and recommending new and emerging MDM / DQ technologies, methodologies, and standards

• Provide guidance to MDM operational requests and suggest operational efficiencies in MDM operations

• Perform requirement analysis along with tech leads and BSA teams and provide solution architecture for MDM integration projects

• Communicating MDM architecture and design details to team members, including delivery, architecture, integration governance, operations, support and services, and other partners

• Collaborating with integration teams to develop master data acquisition strategies and enterprise ETL design patterns aligned with the enterprise master data models

• Collaborating with database administrators to design and implement physical master data models including performance and quality controls such as indexing strategies, referential integrity constraints, versioning, release management, and partitioning

• Resolving complex technical issues as they relate to master data architecture, performance, and various tools, working closely with technical team members

• Reviewing MDM environment for efficacy, performance improvement (including APIs), and support overall MDM data governance model

• Maintaining integrity, metadata, and data lineage for MDM data intake processes including onboarding new sources via data profiling to identify data quality checks

• Supporting multiple master data related projects including Data Lake, Analytics, Data Governance, Data Quality, and CRM / ERP

• Act as Technical SME for the master data in scope and provide insights to design for the plan/build team/ review design/approvals on test cases and guide in production schedules

• Work on ad-hoc business needs and provide inputs to operations team for execution

• Owns the delivery of technical artefacts design and development of the solution

• Understands the current architectures and master data integration in scope

• Owns the Architecture Design, participates in key technical discussions

• Assists in data model design/customization

• Understand the current data state processes business rules, data rules, reports

• Leads discussion with Product tool vendor in case of product related bug

• Data Review on Master data post software upgrades and patching partnering with the necessary Infrastructure teams

• Knowledge of DevOps, infrastructure and security standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Science or equivalent

• 8+ years of relevant Data management project implementation experience

• 6+ years of hands on Informatica MDM lead/architect experience.(at least 2 plus years of MDM 10.3 version or higher)

• 4+ years of MDM configuration exp. ( All part of development – Landing , stage, Base , Match rule , Match rule tuning etc.)

• Hands-on experience in Informatica Saas (preferred)

• Good knowledge of MDM ingestion /publish mechanism (real time , batch)

• Experience in working Multiple domains (in single MDM platform)

• Excellent knowledge on Informatica platform as a whole and the integration among different Informatica components and services

• Informatica Certifications (MDM, MDM Hub Administrator, Hub Developer, Informatica Developer) is preferred

• Hands on expertise in design, development, support, and operations using Informatica MDM C360 (Hub, IDD and Hierarchy Manager Configuration)

• Hands on experience on Configuring Informatica MDM(C360) (Hub, IDD and Hierarchy Manager Configuration)

• UI configuration, Cleanse (data validation) configuration, workflow configurations(using ActiveVos), setting up MDM data model

• Hands on experience configuring Match & Merge rules, trust & validation rules in MDM

• Hands-on experience on creating User Exits using JAVA

• Hands on experience configuring MDM APIs and strong understanding of customizing APIs/building wrapper services or composite services for data ingestion into MDM

• Hands on experience configuring MDM outbound data access layer for middleware/downstream apps

• Hands on experience configuring 3rd party services using Daas Module in MDM

• Strong understanding on IDQ data quality, data profiling and metadata management along with integration of MDM C360 with IDQ

• Configuration and Management Of Users/Groups/Roles/enable single sign on/ securities etc

• Hands-on experience in design and development of migrating data from source systems in Informatica MDM

• Hands on experience with Cloud Hosted Informatica MDM C360 solution

• Hands on experience configuring DNB & Address doctor services using MDM & IDQ Webservice

• Hands-on experience in Oracle SQL & PLSQL
