Job Summary

As Senior Director of Physical Interconnection, you will lead the strategy, development, and growth of Equinix’s physical interconnection products. This executive role is responsible for the global product line’s profitability, innovation, and operational excellence. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product engineering, sales/GTM, operations, and other stakeholders to deliver a coherent and scalable interconnection experience. 

Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership 

  • Define and execute the global strategy for physical interconnection products and services

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management in alignment with market trends and customer needs

  • Drive innovation and evangelize product capabilities internally and externally

Product & Business Management 

  • Lead a global team of ~15 product managers, fostering a high-performance, agile culture

  • Manage full P&L responsibility for the physical interconnection portfolio

  • Monitor financial performance, ensuring revenue and cost targets are met

Operational Excellence 

  • Ensure product reliability, availability, and scalability across global markets

  • Collaborate with architecture, operations, CTO, and CIO organizations to evaluate and integrate new technologies

Customer Experience 

  • Champion a consistent and intuitive user experience across direct and indirect customer channels

  • Continuously assess and improve customer and sales engagement with interconnection products

Qualifications 

  • 15+ years of experience in product engineering or product management at a high-growth tech company or enterprise

  • Proven success in leading global software/product teams and managing cross-functional initiatives

  • Strong general management and strategic execution capabilities

  • Master’s degree in Product Management, Business, or Technology preferred

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Redwood City Office GHQ : 240,000 - 360,000 USD / Annual

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 200,000 - 300,000 USD / Annual

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 202,000 - 302,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
