Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Product UX to lead the design strategy for a platform that connects and simplifies how customers interact with our products. Today, customers access our services through multiple independent product experiences. We are bringing those experiences together into a unified platform where customers can discover, purchase, and manage services in one place. 

The Director of Product UX will lead the design team responsible for shaping this experience. You will define the UX strategy for the platform, establish design standards used across product teams, and ensure the customer experience is consistent, intuitive, and grounded in real user needs. This role leads the design strategy and capabilities required to deliver a unified, intuitive customer experience across the platform and the products it connects. 

Responsibilities 

  • Define UX Strategy: Lead the experience vision for the platform and ensure design informs product strategy and roadmap decisions

  • Lead and Develop the Design Team: Manage and mentor a team of UX designers. Conduct design reviews, support career development, and maintain a high bar for design quality

  • Own user adoption outcomes: Define and drive strategies that increase customer onboarding, engagement, and sustained usage of platform experiences, ensuring UX directly contributes to measurable adoption goals.

  • Create a Unified Product Experience: Define experience standards that ensure consistency across products and services

  • Build and Govern a Design System: Lead the development and adoption of a shared design system used across multiple product teams

  • Establish UX Research Practices: Build a research capability that generates insight into customer behavior, needs, and pain points. Ensure research informs product decisions

  • Improve End-to-End Customer Journeys: Map and improve customer journeys that span multiple products and systems to ensure a seamless platform experience

  • Partner Across Product and Engineering: Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to shape product direction and deliver high-quality experiences

  • Advocate for the Customer: Champion user-centered design principles and ensure customer needs are represented in product decisions

  • Establish a shared design system adopted across product teams 

  • Integrate UX research and design insight into product planning 

  • Improve the consistency and usability of experiences across products 

  • Build a strong design culture focused on customer outcomes 

  • Develop and grow a high-performing design team 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in UX, product design, or related disciplines 

  • 5+ years leading product design teams 

  • Experience defining UX strategy for complex digital products or platforms 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence product and engineering leadership 

  • Experience building or scaling design systems across multiple product teams 

  • Strong experience applying UX research to product strategy and design decisions 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience leading UX for platform or ecosystem products 

  • Experience designing experiences that span multiple products or services 

  • Experience building UX research or design operations capabilities 

  • Experience working in enterprise software or technically complex products 

This posting is a new position within our organization.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 177,000 - 265,000 USD / Annual

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 166,000 - 248,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
