Job Summary: 

Be the primary domestic contact when supporting regional physical security enablement team for physical security system (such as AMAG system, Kiosk, security PC and etc) with local service provider. Work closely with Equinix Korea Datacenter Operations Compliance team to function as the SME (Subject Matter of Expert) in Quality, Security, Business Continuity (QISBC) and EHS related items.   

 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage IT systems related to security operations including NVR, ACS, CCTV, Kiosks etc. 

  • Participant in diverse system enhancement projects with global teams. 

  • Supports the rollout of security processes across all sites in scope. 

  • Handle and decision-making in situations of Security Incident and other security related issues. 

  • Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in an emergency, large-scale event response when needed. 

  • Participate in re-occurring data security audits and reviews like K-ISMS and ISO 27001. 

  • Write reports and communicate with management on the status of DC security operations. 

  • Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects. 

  

What will you do? 

Provides day to day support to Datacenter Operations Security & Compliance 

  • Be the first to respond to a security incident. 

  • Coordinate security policy between Equinix Policy and Customer requirements. 

  • Supports preventative maintenance for security infrastructure, according to the standard operating procedures, for on-time and accurate security patching and updates. 

  • Supports moderate issues for local security, in responding to and resolving issues and/or condition reports for the ACS (Access Control System) and VMS (Video Management Systems), in accordance with policies and procedures. 

  • Be the SME (subject matter of expert) to backup for operational compliance team. 

  • Analyzes and maintains security drawings and site-specific supporting documentation. 

  

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors experience  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or other related discipline 

  • Operational experience with data communication issues, including physical security, resource management, capacity planning, monitoring, and performance is a plus 

  • Experience with network and windows server administration is a plus 

  • Proficiency in Korean and English
