To support our growing sales teams in Germany we are looking for a Senior Account Executive (m/f/d)
What is the role about?
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for ensuring successful achievement of global sales booking targets in the Enterprise Market. This includes the sales planning and preparation of the vertical strategy to enhance growth on a global level. In the role, you will develop and maintain excellent relationships with multilevel contacts up to CXOs and as well with the respective Partner, Channel and Alliances contacts. Conducting global account meetings, preparing and documenting all account plans as well as analysing the effective business environment, analysing and preparing forecast and estimates for various selling procedures are further duties. This position can be located in various cities in Germany.
Your responsibilities are in detail:
Own your own business, Prospecting for new business, hunting for new opportunities, know how to and create/Build a long-term pipeline
You have to lead, drive and implement a global account strategy
Sell customers success while you solve Customers Problems, see the world in the customers eyes
Have a clear understanding on "solution selling", and know how to deal with c-level contacts on this approach
Establishing track record selling and creating complex global deals (project lead)
Identify and formulate lead generation activities with marketing and inside sales for the vertical market
Use a modern fresh way how to create contacts, meetings, customer appointments
Work closely with prospects, vendors and customers to develop roadmaps or prepare business cases to build solutions for business opportunities that drive customer success
Translate Platform Equinix capabilities into high value solution sets for target customers
Plan for, build and maintain effective relationships with senior executives, key decision makers, influencers and technical experts across the client organization
Develop clear understanding of customer environments
Responding to incoming and cross-sector prospects & customer enquiries
Conducting sales presentations to customers and prospects
Organizing and conducting site visits
Present regular forecasting, planning and reporting to sales management
Participate in company and industry events
Who are you?
Relevant industry experience in any vertical
Sales and enterprise knowledge, with a Strong hunting mentality in prospects as also in existing accounts
Is driven self-starter with a can do spirit and strong business attitude
Proficient at planning and executing account strategies and maintaining effective long-term business relationships at the senior level with key decision makers.
C-Level/executive business sales experience
Ability to confidently liaise with and successfully present to senior audiences
Proficiency in building business cases presenting them to top decision makers
Intercultural proficiency in dealing internationally and with matrix organizations
Excellent presentation skills and strong negotiation skills
Possess excellent verbal communication skills
Fluent German and English is required.
