Job Summary
We are seeking an execution-oriented Principal Global Ops Product & Services – Service Delivery to drive operational readiness, process optimization, and lifecycle management across Equinix's global infrastructure portfolio — including Colocation, Interconnection, Power, and Data Center Infrastructure.
In this role, you will bridge Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to standardize processes, lead business transformation initiatives, and ensure services are delivered in a scalable, customer-centric manner. Success requires strong analytical skills, technical acumen, and the ability to translate complex operational challenges into practical, sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Operational Excellence
Drive continuous improvement of service delivery processes and operational capabilities supporting Equinix's global products and services portfolio
Establish and promote standardized processes, operational controls, and best practices across regional and global teams
Identify operational risks, process inefficiencies, and service delivery gaps, and implement scalable solutions to improve quality, consistency, and customer outcomes
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure operational requirements are incorporated into product and service design
Support operational readiness activities for new product launches, enhancements, and infrastructure initiatives
Develop and maintain end-to-end service delivery workflows, procedures, and operational documentation
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with Global Operations, Product, Engineering, Technology, and regional teams to gather requirements and align on business and operational solutions
Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve challenges, drive alignment, and support effective decision-making
Prepare and present recommendations, operational insights, status updates, and business cases to stakeholders and leadership
Build strong partnerships across technical and business teams to drive successful outcomes
Additional Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional projects end-to-end — managing plans, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications from requirements gathering through operational transition
Gather and validate business requirements, lead process mapping and workflow optimization, and apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and scalability
Drive change management activities including documentation, training, and communications; coordinate UAT planning and execution to ensure solutions meet operational requirements
Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities; develop KPI reporting and measure solution effectiveness to inform continuous improvement
Mentor team members and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Typically, 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Operational Excellence, Service Delivery, Process Improvement, or Business Transformation.
Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Technology teams.
Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow optimization, and stakeholder management.
Experience using data and KPIs to drive operational improvements and business decisions.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and change management methodologies; Green Belt certification is an asset.
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience in data center, infrastructure, telecommunications, professional services, or technology environments is an asset.
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 139,000 - 209,000 CAD / Annual
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
