Job Summary: The InfoSec Technical Project Engineer (TPE) is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects across Global InfoSec operations. The TPE will plan, schedule, predict, and handle all tasks for InfoSec to ensure accuracy, accurate resourcing, and quality implementation of all project elements from start to finish. All projects will require technical capability, strong business insight, and the ability to work multi-functionally to deliver within the Project Framework.
Mid-level InfoSec Engineer with experience in IT security areas including applications, systems and network.
Responsible for planning all project meetings, developing project charters, and delivering timely reporting updates to leadership
Ability to balance multiple small to medium InfoSec projects simultaneously, schedule collaborative working sessions and project team meetings, update Jira boards, document meeting minutes and action items with limited supervision
Ability to review security finding and work with key stakeholders to resolve remediation actions
Establish specifications for projects based on a detailed assessment of security standards, business requirements, and technical design
Ability to workshop WBS (work breakdown structures) with subject matter experts, team leads and hold individual contributors accountable for meeting delivery dates
Effectively communicates across stakeholders to meet information security project objectives
Maintain Privileged and Confidential company policy in all work activity
Gather requirements for project scope, schedule, and budget
Adhere to budget by supervising expenditure and implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate
Implement new technologies, policies, and procedures for business IT, Cloud and Applications. Provide operational support for security tooling, systems, and network infrastructure
The ideal candidate will be a standout colleague in providing mentorship to support InfoSec strategic operations in the domain of IT/Cloud/App Sec/DevSecOps and support Network, Physical Security, OT/ICS, Managed Services, and other areas as assigned
Soft Skills Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communications skills and business insight (technical writing is a bonus)
Interpersonal skills capable of building and maintaining strong professional relationships
The ideal candidate be able to establish relationships and collaborate with Information Security, IT and business teams
CompTIA Security+, PMP certification (minimally 8-12 years of experience in an enterprise environment), CISSP a strong plus
Ability to identify gaps in operational business process
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
3+ years of experience
Certification in SANS (GPEN), SANS (GCIH) and SANS (GCED) preferred
Mergers & Acquisitions experience is a huge plus
PMP and CISSP certifications a huge plus
Understands importance of Cyber Risk Management and Risk Mitigation
Proven Understanding of security and privacy frameworks such as NIST and GDPR
Previous Information Security project experience handling technical resources on security implementations
Competence with Atlassian product suite (Jira/Confluence primarily), O365 and Lucid Charts
