The Director of Enterprise Finance Systems & Transformation is responsible for leading the global strategy, delivery, and optimization of Oracle Financials Cloud ERP, EPM, and OCI platforms. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT to architect scalable processes, enhance financial reporting capabilities, and enable global business growth through a modern, integrated financial technology ecosystem powered by AI and cloud-native automation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & AI Roadmap
- Define and execute a multi-year transformation roadmap for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM, leveraging AI and machine learning to support global scale, operational efficiency, and predictive financial insights.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that modernize finance processes and increase automation across the enterprise through GenAI and intelligent process automation.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, and IT, ensuring system design meets complex statutory, regulatory, tax, and reporting needs.
- Influence senior stakeholders on technology investments—specifically in OCI services and AI-driven analytics—to improve data governance and decision-making.
Oracle ERP/EPM & AI Excellence
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Oracle Cloud Financials and EPM modules, incorporating Oracle’s embedded AI features to enhance GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, budgeting, and financial consolidation.
- Champion best practices for global standardization and the adoption of AI-led touchless accounting.
Cloud Governance & OCI Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and manage the underlying Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Establish governance frameworks for OCI resource management and cloud security to align with business priorities.
Systems Integration & Architecture (OIC)
- Direct complex integrations between Oracle Financials and third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, HRIS, banking networks) utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and modern microservices patterns.
- Partner with enterprise architecture leaders to ensure a scalable, secure, and reliable financial systems ecosystem hosted on OCI.
Operational & Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a high-performing global team of Oracle functional and technical specialists (OIC developers, OCI admins, and ERP analysts), ensuring adherence to SLAs and operational excellence.
- Develop career pathways that include upskilling the team in AI-enabled ERP management.
Compliance, Controls & Security
- Ensure the Oracle environment remains fully compliant with internal controls, SOX, GDPR, and audit requirements.
- Leverage OCI security tools and AI-driven monitoring to maintain strict Segregation of Duties (SoD) and data security policies.
Vendor & Financial Management
- Manage relationships with Oracle and SI partners to maximize ROI on OCI, OIC, and SaaS licensing.
- Own the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Oracle licensing, infrastructure, and cloud consumption.
Reporting & Data Insights
- Standardize global financial reporting using OTBI, FRS, and AI-powered analytics to deliver real-time, prescriptive insights to executive leadership.
- Partner with FP&A to modernize analytical capabilities using OCI Data Science or advanced EPM modelling.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience leading Oracle Cloud Financials application implementations and support operations.
- Proven leadership managing 3+ successful global Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM implementations.
- Deep Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for complex middleware solutions and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for platform management.
- AI Fluency: Demonstrated experience or vision in implementing AI/ML capabilities within a finance context to drive automation and predictive modelling.
- Systems Mastery: Expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, OIC, and financial data tools (OTBI, Smart View, FRS).
- Strategic Vision: Success in leading high-performing teams in complex, global environments with a focus on digital transformation and cloud-native architecture.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational change leadership skills.
