Job Summary

Accelerate Equinix’s growth in market share and revenue by penetrating new accounts and work cross-functionally to expand and grow existing accounts. Protect/expand revenue in assigned accounts and work cross-functionally to drive high customer satisfaction. Develop new accounts by working cross-functionally with specific emphasis in enterprise space.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in financial sector accounts.

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Lead executive briefings to align customer goals with Equinix solutions.

Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration

  • Lead coordinated sales efforts with internal teams (Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, Customer Care, etc.) and external partners (Resellers, Strategic Alliances).

  • Collaborate with global sales teams to sell across regions and achieve export targets.

Account & Territory Planning

  • Develop strategic global account plans focused on financial institutions.

  • Prioritize accounts and prospects to meet short- and long-term sales objectives.

  • Provide accurate forecasts and identify churn risks.

Solution Selling

  • Identify customer challenges and technical requirements; match with Equinix solutions.

  • Deliver tailored pitches to C-level and technical stakeholders in financial organizations.

  • Sell the full suite of Equinix offerings, including global data center footprint.

Contract Management

  • Lead contract renewals and negotiations to protect and grow revenue.

  • Address high-risk churn accounts using internal and external resources.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and renewal terms.

Pipeline & Prospecting

  • Maintain opportunity status in Salesforce (SFDC) and adhere to forecasting principles.

  • Actively prospect new financial sector accounts and expand existing ones.

  • Leverage tools and account strategy plans to drive pipeline growth.

Negotiation & Deal Structuring

  • Lead commercial negotiations and structure deals to maximize value.

  • Partner with leadership for regional deal reviews and approvals.

Mentorship & Leadership

  • Mentor junior sales professionals and lead special projects.

  • Share best practices and support adoption of new products and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

  • Extensive years of experience in enterprise sales or account management.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and contract negotiations.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

  • Experience working with clients in the financial services sector.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure industry.

  • Familiarity with global account planning and cross-region selling.

  • Prior experience working with strategic alliances and reseller partners.

  • Understanding of financial institutions’ business drivers and regulatory environment.

Qualifications requises

  • Diplôme universitaire en commerce, marketing, finance ou domaine connexe.

  • Expérience significative en vente B2B ou gestion de comptes.

  • Historique avéré d’atteinte ou de dépassement des objectifs commerciaux.

  • Expérience dans la gestion de cycles de vente complexes et de négociations contractuelles.

  • Maîtrise de Salesforce ou d’un outil CRM équivalent.

  • Expérience avec des clients du secteur des services financiers.

Qualifications souhaitées
