Job Summary
This role is a highly technical people manager responsible for leading Technical Deployment teams that deliver complex, large-scale data center customer implementations. The position combines people leadership, technical project management, and operational execution, with accountability for delivery outcomes, standards, and continuous improvement.
The role holds primary accountability for the North Americian Western region and actively partners with North American East and LATAM regional leaders to ensure consistent and scalable deployment practices.
Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership
Leads a highly technical organization through subordinate managers, supervisors, and professionals
Acts as a very technical people manager, capable of asking the right questions and guiding complex execution
Sets goals to motivate and develop team members
Determines resources to meet schedules and delivery goals
Ensures operational and deployment standards are defined and followed
Recommends policy and procedural improvements across disciplines
Order Requirements & Support
Manages and advises teams on gathering and validating customer order requirements
Recommends solutions for non-standard and complex orders
Ensures consistency across metros
Project Planning
Oversees development of customer project implementation plans
Ensures realistic task plans, schedules, and commit dates
Leads continuous improvement and risk mitigation
Customer Order: Project Implementation & Delivery
Manages successful on-time, high-quality deployment delivery
Owns Commit Compliance and delivery KPIs
Drives performance analysis and corrective improvements
Cross-Functional & Customer Support
Leads resolution of customer and cross-functional issues
Acts as a strong communicator and escalation owner
Partners with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Regional teams
Process Support & Optimization
Leads cross-functional process design and improvement initiatives
Improves fulfillment, provisioning lead time, and delivery efficiency
Systems, Data & Financial Acumen
Oversees data center operations systems impacts and improvements
Leads data issue investigation and resolution
Applies financial and business planning knowledge to operations decisions
Vendor Management
Manages vendor engagement related to deployments, construction, and EIS
Partners with data center operations support to ensure performance standards
Qualifications
Typically 10+ years of experience in technical or infrastructure environments
Strong technical people leadership experience
Data center, real estate, or IT infrastructure project management background
Field experience such as construction or site delivery
Real estate space planning and build readiness experience
Strong communication, people leadership, and financial literacy
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 103,000 - 155,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
