Job Summary
We are seeking a highly strategic and analytical Senior Manager, FP&A to lead our dynamic FP&A team. This role is critical in shaping the financial strategy of the organization, driving comprehensive financial planning, and ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will possess advanced financial modeling skills, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Data Consolidation and Integration: Lead the consolidation of multiple sets of financial and operational data from various business units and departments. This includes gathering, validating, and synthesizing data from disparate sources to create a unified financial view. Ensure that data integrity and accuracy are maintained throughout the consolidation process, employing advanced data management techniques and tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across various functions. Collaborate closely with these teams to gather insights and data necessary for comprehensive financial analysis. This collaboration is essential for understanding the nuances of each department’s performance and aligning financial strategies with operational goals
Holistic Financial Reporting: Develop and implement a framework for holistic financial reporting that integrates insights from multiple departments. This involves creating dashboards and reports that provide a comprehensive view of the organization’s financial health, enabling informed decision-making at all levels. Ensure that reports are tailored to meet the needs of different stakeholders, from operational teams to executive leadership
Scenario Analysis and Forecasting: Utilize consolidated data to conduct scenario analysis and forecasting, assessing the potential impact of various business decisions and external factors on financial performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather assumptions and insights that inform these analyses, ensuring that forecasts are realistic and aligned with operational capabilities
Performance Metrics Alignment: Work with cross-functional teams to establish and align performance metrics that reflect both financial and operational objectives. This includes developing key performance indicators (KPIs) that are relevant to each department while ensuring they contribute to the overall financial goals of the organization. Regularly review and adjust these metrics based on changing business conditions and strategic priorities
Change Management and Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve data consolidation processes and enhance cross-functional collaboration. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to streamline data collection and reporting. Champion change management efforts to ensure that all stakeholders are engaged and aligned with new processes and tools
Training and Development: Provide training and support to cross-functional teams on financial concepts, data interpretation, and reporting tools. Empower teams to understand the financial implications of their decisions and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization
Advanced Data Management Skills: Proficiency in data consolidation techniques and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools) is essential. Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present consolidated data in an accessible and actionable format
Cross-Functional Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights that resonate with non-financial audiences.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret and synthesize large volumes of data from various sources. Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis
Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects that require coordination among multiple teams. Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery of consolidated reports and analyses
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience in finance, business, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on financial planning and analysis in a leadership capacity
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is required; an MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred
Strategic Project Management: Proven ability to lead complex projects and initiatives, managing time effectively and prioritizing multiple high-stakes projects in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment
Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong communication style with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including executive leadership
Influence and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, business partners, and peers through collaborative and independent work, both in-person and remotely
Adaptability and Change Management: Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at championing change initiatives. Proven track record of driving improvements and innovation within financial processes
Fluent in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
United States - Tampa Office TAO : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 119,000 - 179,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
