Conduct site condition and design studies to understand current state, identifying any design shortcomings or underperforming spaces, and preparing recommendations
Working with the wider CRE department, and collaboratively within the team, develop a clear space programme and design brief for all projects, including gap analysis
Work as an integrated team with the Regional Programme Managers to understand project parameters, opportunities, constraints, critical paths, and budget at the project outset
Preparation of blocking and stacking diagrams to illustrate the relationship and adjacency of spaces, referencing building features and user journeys through the environment

Incorporate sustainable design practices and innovative technologies into workplace design initiatives, continuously seeking out sustainably conscious solutions
Ensure our workplaces and design solutions promote diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility, fostering a sense of belonging without barriers or reservation
Stay current on workplace design trends, furniture, finishes, and innovations, bringing fresh ideas into each design project, identifying areas for improvement
Curate and specify materials, finishes, and furniture that align with the design principles, standards, concept, budget, and functionality requirements
Selection of accessories, artwork, and props to dress and stage the workplace, ensuring a cohesive and considered design scheme that is sensitive to local regions and inclusivity
Support the Senior Design Manager with initial design reviews and coordination with an emphasis on furniture, fixtures and equipment specifications and material samples
Ensure that designs are compliant with Design Standards and Guidelines, escalating any deviations for approval by the Global Director of Design, Delivery & Innovation
Work with the Senior Design Manager to prepare presentations for internal design gateway reviews, recording and incorporating feedback into design revisions
Prepare and present concept design proposals to the CRE Leadership team, and design standard addendums to CREW teams
Prepare and oversee space plans to support moves and changes as part of business-as-usual projects and respond to design queries from regional CRE teams
Represent a Centre of Excellence, supporting CRE colleagues globally on design subject matters, providing expertise and advice, including supporting materials
