Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the team with data exploration, data audits, and reporting

Responsibilities
Data Auditing and Cleansing

  • Contributes to audits of data within business systems/platforms

  • Performs follow-up checks to ensure data quality and accuracy

  • Reconciles data between one or more datasets

 

Data Exploration

  • Explores data within multiple files or backend tables to determine trends and relationships between variables

  • Makes recommendations of what data should be explored and debriefs with stakeholder to explain data insights

  • Perform data modeling and reporting tasks in support of key pricing programs.

 

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Reaches out to client to clarify requests and debriefs with stakeholder to explain data insights and confirm report

  • Delivers reports to stakeholder group and answers questions pertaining to the report

  • Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions

  • Escalates to resolve complex stakeholder issues

  • Become a subject matter expert on Product data

 

Ad Hoc Reporting & Analysis

  • Creates ad-hoc reports, using insights from data exploration to prepare basic visualizations and PowerPoint reports for clients requesting the data

  • Perform ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses to understand what is driving business performance across key metrics

  • Maintain an existing suite of product dashboards in tools like Tableau or Looker, and perform dashboard updates as needed.

  • Assist the team with automating reporting/project tasks where applicable

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or relevant engineering discipline preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Proficient in SQL preferred

  • Proficient in Tableau or similar data visualization tools

  • Proficient in Python preferred

  • Possess excellent time management skills and is comfortable working independently

  • Strong analytical skills to work with complex business problems and systems challenges

  • Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively to large groups

  • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail

This posting is for a backfill position, meaning it is to fill an existing vacancy within our organization.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 73,000 - 109,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
