Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, ERM will play an integral role in leading and maturing the company’s enterprise risk management program, driving risk culture, governance, and cross-functional coordination. This role will formalize and operationalize risk frameworks, facilitate risk identification and assessment, and further embed risk management practices and culture into decision-making, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

ERM Framework & Governance

  • Create, maintain, and enhance the ERM policy, framework, operating structures, and capabilities (risk appetite, key risk indicators, etc.)

  • Coordinate the Risk Liaison Network, develop roles/responsibilities, and lead network meetings

  • Support leadership and board risk discussions; facilitate setting and approval of company risk appetite

  • Develop, deliver, track, and report on risk culture initiatives and ERM program improvements

Risk Identification, Assessment, & Quantification

  • Facilitate cross-functional risk prioritization (Emerging Risk team, GRC committee)

  • Lead risk workshops and coordinate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation tracking

  • Improve risk quantification and scenario analysis capabilities to support decision-making

  • Review and challenge risk assessments, control designs, and mitigation plans to ensure completeness, consistency, and effectiveness

  • Administer periodic risk surveys; analyze, summarize, and communicate results

Project Management & Issue Closure

  • Project manage complex and cross-functional risk assessments (e.g., high-risk markets)

  • Collaborate with Internal Audit and GRC teams to ensure coordinated risk management and to support closure of critical issues

  • Recommend and monitor implementation of systematic/process fixes to reduce future occurrences

  • Provide coaching and capability building on effective risk management and issue closure

Training & Culture Building

  • Develop, deliver, and facilitate training/awareness programs for ERM

  • Equip employees with skills to manage risks as part of their day-to-day work

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on risk-related decisions; provide risk-informed insights to support key initiatives and decision-making

  • Stay current on ERM trends, emerging risks and opportunities

Reporting, Communication, & Technology

  • Develop ERM dashboards and quarterly risk reports for leadership and board

  • Aggregate top risks/issues across all functions; maintain enterprise-level risk dashboard

  • Prepare consolidated risk/issue reports and communicate status updates to stakeholders

  • Work with risk liaisons to track all items in centralized tool

  • Partner with IT on risk management automation and tool management

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience operating in a second-line risk function with independent oversight responsibilities

  • Strong project management skills, especially for complex, cross-functional initiatives

  • Strong ability to coach and build risk management capabilities across teams

  • Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks and techniques including experience with risk quantification, risk appetites, scenario analysis, key risk indicators, and reporting

  • Excellent influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk and Compliance tools and automated risk reporting solutions. Experience with ServiceNow/Integrated Risk Management tool is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Information Systems, or Risk Management) is a plus

  • 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, or highly related field

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Tampa Office TAO : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 131,000 - 181,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
