Productivity and Collaboration Manager
The Digital Workplace Experience team is looking for a hands-on technology leader to manage a small team of engineers that will be focused on innovation, change management, and adoption to improve collaboration and productivity for our colleagues and partners across the globe.
The ideal candidate is working or has worked IT operations, support or unified communication teams and brings solid experience in designing, deploying, and adopting global productivity and collaboration tools and platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, Slack, etc. Ready to drive technology transformations that set the stage for growth, scale and unmatched collaboration and productivity. A global leader who thrives at growing engineers and project teams to successfully deliver global solutions that drive a more seamless and frictionless colleague experience.
Key focus areas
Designing and enabling a low friction, seamless collaboration, and communication experience for our global colleagues
Establish and evolve a framework for how we choose, implement, adopt, and scale our productivity and collaboration tools and platforms
Responsibilities
Ownership of the global productivity and collaboration vision, strategy, and roadmap
Subject matter expert and works directly with customers, senior management, and vendors to help build and drive the overall productivity and collaboration strategy
Creates and drives innovative colleague productivity and collaboration concepts to real world solutions
Oversees governance and project management activities for the productivity and collaboration product lines to ensure high user adoption
Builds and maintains strong partnerships with internal stake holders to help identify and implement more efficient ways of collaborating
Modernize the global communications infrastructure and architecture
Lead, develop and mentor team members through 1 on 1’s, goal setting and achievement and career building exercises
Vendor management
Qualifications
3+ years professional leadership experience in a global enterprise IT support, unified communications, or telecom engineering team
Influential and effective communicator that has a proven history of bringing together diverse people and teams to deliver an aligned vision, strategy, and goal
Proven success in leading diverse project teams and partners providing real world solutions to business problems that achieve high adoption and colleague satisfaction scores
Leads by example, easily approachable by staff and partners, promotes a collaborative work environment and actively takes part in their team's talent development using individual developmental and growth plans.
Experience with managing annual department CAPEX/OPEX budgets and negotiating with SaaS, PaaS, and other vendors
Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience
