Job Summary
We’re seeking a Data Center Technician to join our Nordic Operations team. These roles are ideal for individuals with hands-on technical skills who want to grow their careers in data center operations.
Responsibilities
Hands-on Customer Support:
Assist with customer installations and troubleshooting, including fiber cross-connects
Provide customer support, including logistics coordination and security coverage
Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on hardware and network equipment
Manage internal and external tickets (including Smart Hands requests) in line with SLAs
Operational Support
Monitor infrastructure alarms (power, cooling, temperature, humidity) to maintain stable operations
Support planned maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards
Assist in documentation and process updates to standardize best practices
Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records
Additional Responsibilities

Oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
Occasional travel to other data centers for project support or escalations
Qualifications
Experience in data center operations
Hands-on experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting
Familiarity with fiber optics and cabling (training provided)
Ability to work in 24/7 shift rotation when required
Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills
Professional proficiency in English (Swedish is a plus)
Key Skills & Experience:
Experience in IT, Telecommunications, or data center operations
Basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and installation
Familiarity with fiber optics, structured cabling, and cross-connects
Ability to use tools such as Fluke testers for cable and fiber testing (training provided)
Understanding of network basics and IT systems
Ability to work in a shift-based environment, including occasional on-call support
Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
Professional proficiency in English (Swedish is an advantage)
