About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and development of our telemetry collection platform—a critical system that powers monitoring and operations across our global datacenters. Your work will enable thousands of colleagues to optimize infrastructure performance and reliability, ultimately improving how the internet operates at scale. This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive innovation, mentor others, and build solutions that make a difference.

What You’ll Do

  • Design & Build: Create scalable, high-performance software solutions for telemetry collection and delivery.

  • Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into elegant, maintainable code.

  • Innovate: Explore new technologies and open-source tools to enhance platform capabilities.

  • Quality & Testing: Develop unit tests, work with automation teams, and ensure robust validation for reliable releases.

  • Document & Share: Maintain clear documentation for designs, processes, and deployed tools.

  • Mentor & Support: Help team members grow by sharing knowledge and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Champion best practices in architecture, coding standards, and agile methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education & Experience:

    • BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).

    • hands-on software development experience building and deploying large-scale applications.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong background in UI development with JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern workflows (Flux/Redux).

    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Docker).

    • Familiarity with microservices, API-first design, and SOA architectures.

    • Ability to design systems for high availability, scalability, and performance.

  • Development Practices:

    • Experience with Agile/Scrum, Test-Driven Development, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong sense of ownership, leadership, and collaboration.

    • Ability to mentor and influence technical decisions across teams.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Poland - Warsaw Office WAO : 220,000 - 364,000 PLN / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
