Job Summary

Equinix is looking for a Senior Manager of Product Marketing to join our global Product and Solution Marketing team and own the development of authoritative, long-form thought leadership content that shapes how enterprise IT leaders think about digital infrastructure, AI, and cloud interconnection. You're a writer and strategist who combines deep technical domain knowledge with the ability to craft narratives that move specific buyer personas — from the cloud architect to the CIO building a five-year infrastructure roadmap.

This role is embedded in Product Marketing by design. You won't be producing content in a vacuum — you'll be working directly from messaging frameworks, buyer insights, and solution positioning to create content that carries real strategic weight.

Responsibilities

You'll lead the development of Equinix's thought leadership content program, with a focus on long-form formats including white papers, executive briefs, research reports, technical guides, point-of-view papers, and bylined articles. You'll translate complex topics — AI inference infrastructure, hybrid multicloud architecture, network fabric strategy, data sovereignty, compliance-driven design — into content that is technically credible, narratively compelling, and mapped to specific buyer personas and funnel stages.

You'll partner closely with product marketers and technical marketers across solution areas and industry verticals to develop content that supports go-to-market programs, demand generation campaigns, and field enablement. You'll also leverage AI tools and manage relationships with external writers, agencies, and subject matter experts, ensuring quality and consistency across a high-volume content pipeline.

Over time, you'll help build and refine a content strategy that positions Equinix as the go-to source of insight for enterprise infrastructure decision-makers — not just a vendor producing datasheets, but a genuine thought partner in the market conversation.

Qualifications

You have 8+ years of content marketing experience in B2B technology, with meaningful and deep experience in at least one of the following domains: data centers, cloud infrastructure, enterprise networking, or AI workloads. You've produced long-form thought leadership content that has actually moved the needle — not just content that got published, but content that drove pipeline, built brand authority, or changed how a market perceived a company.

You write with technical credibility and narrative clarity at the same time. You understand how enterprise IT buyers consume information, what earns their trust, and what makes them dismiss a piece as marketing noise. You're as comfortable developing a 10-page white paper on DORA compliance and interconnection architecture as you are writing an executive-level POV on the future of AI infrastructure.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of B2B content marketing experience with deep domain knowledge in data centers, cloud, networking, or AI infrastructure

  • Portfolio of long-form thought leadership content — white papers, research reports, executive briefs, technical guides — produced for a technical enterprise audience

  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT buyer personas, buying journeys, and how content supports demand generation programs

  • Experience working within or in close partnership with a Product Marketing function; comfort with messaging hierarchies, solution positioning, and persona-based content development

  • Ability to manage a content pipeline across multiple simultaneous workstreams, including external contributors, agencies, and SMEs

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content quality standards — you are the bar, not just the manager of it

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Engineering, or a related field

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 155,000 - 233,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
