Job Summary
The payroll team serves as liaison to employees and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.
Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Reviews data feeds from HRSS
- Documents payroll processes and procedures
- Ensures all employees are set up in payroll system
Employee Support
- Assist to answer complex employee payroll inquires, escalating cases needed and acting as a resource to more senior Payroll Specialist
System Management
- Verifies compliance with federal and state payroll requirements; stays current with changes in the law
- Reviews result and makes corrections to the system
Vendor Management
- Reviews and creates payroll file for transmission to vendor
- Responsible for managing the vendor(s) supporting. This includes negotiating contracts, staying abreast of system enhancements, submitting enhancement requests
What you will learn and grow
- Knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws & Tax Regulations (Understanding of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG contributions, and BIR tax compliance)
- Payroll Processing Basics (Salary computation, overtime, deductions, and statutory benefits)

Compliance & Reporting (Familiarity with government reporting requirements and deadlines)
Who you are:
- Final Year students or on track to graduate with Bachelor Business/Finance/Accounting in late 2026 till Mid 2027
- Residing in Metro Manila during internship period
- You have any prior experiences in payroll systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas for payroll reconciliation.
- Understanding of General Ledger Posting and reading financial statements.
- Weekday work schedule
