Job Summary:
As part of the Corporate Development team, this intern will support regional business planning and analysis, strategic initiatives, and new business development research. You'll have the opportunity to build cross-functional relationships and contribute to work spanning strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate investments.
Job Summary
Investment Management
- Assists in evaluation of real estate strategy for each metro and supports capex forecasts on planned development
- Supports the preparation of business cases for new development
- Conducts financial modeling and assists in development of presentations
- Supports the investment approval process and capex prioritization
- Assists with creation of investment proposals to executive management
- Assists in evaluation of site business performance against plans
- Supports asset management optimization strategies including expansion, contraction, disposition and reconfiguration of properties
- Conducts financial analysis and IRR models
- Conducts ad hoc financial analysis in support of other business units, including M&A, Strategy, Business Development, and others
Project and Program Management
- Attends and supports cross-functional team meetings
- Assists in preparation of Executive staff and Board presentation materials
- Supports internal consulting projects focused on new markets/products, growth initiatives, or profitability improvements
- Prepares team meeting materials
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Builds relationships with key stakeholders throughout the company
- Supports communication with internal departments to ensure accurate data is used for modeling purposes
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Available to work full-time on a hybrid basis for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (June 1st – Aug 21st, 2026)
- Prior coursework or experience in financial modeling, corporate finance, or investment analysis preferred
- Strong analytical skills with a foundation in Excel and financial concepts
- Effective communicator with the ability to work across teams
