We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of our Prepaids, PO Accruals, Intercompany Transaction accounting , contributing to financial reporting. The Accountant uses experienced professional accountant knowledge to resolve diverse accounting matters. Performs monthly accounting close activities focused on more risky and complicated countries.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and posts journal entries in Prepaids, PO Accruals, Intercompany areas

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate reclasses or accrual requests

• Prepare and Review Global Balance sheet recons

• Assist in preparing documentation for  SOX related to tasks

• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

• Participate in the execution of internal controls related to General accounting

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, AP, AR, FP &A , and Reporting to gather relevant information

• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits

• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and recommend improvements

• Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with accounting and Month End Close process is preferred

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience in oracle cloud accounting software is a Plus
