Job Summary
The Digital Services Business Operations leader reports to the EVP & General Manager, Digital Services and is responsible for driving the operation of the BU strategy ensuring expected strategic outcomes are being met. They will prioritize and support the execution the DS BU roadmap. They will lead the business review processes for business/strategic planning, developing OKR’s, budget and ROI for the DS BU. They will work to ensure the optimization of the DS BU via end-to-end performance monitoring and optimization, through meaningful data, metrics, insights and reporting to proactively enable effective business decisions. They will support scaled, technical projects through skilled program management functions for our most important workstreams. They will align and interlock with key stakeholders across the organization to monitor and manage capital efficiency and capital management, drive alignment and collaboration of key strategic priorities, including potential M&A activity, and will strive to ensure we are working on the most strategic projects. They will lead a team to foster and drive operational excellence and a mindset of outcome-based planning and execution across the Digital Services BU.
Responsibilities
Ensure prioritization of key strategic initiatives via thorough business case development
Project/Program manage strategic and critical projects/products on behalf of the BU
Partner to define and measure project outcomes
Offer best in class, complex project management capabilities including strong cross functional alignment and interlock, defining and measuring project outcomes, delivering on project execution, managing budget and risks
Ensure optimization of the BU through end-to-end performance monitoring and metrics including methods and tools to help instrument the business resulting in faster and better business decisions
Provide predictive outcomes and invest or divest decisions through insights
Provide data, metrics, insights and reporting to proactively enable effective business decisions
Drive E2E capital efficiency and capital management and manage capital budget
Financials reconciliations, business metrics and P&L reporting in partnership with Finance
Product performance, use experience and customer adoption to understand quote to ordering, delivery, cost curves, margin, P&L impact
Sales and revenue predictions based on customer behavior, attach rate propensity, customer behavior, segmentation, buying potential, physical vs virtual portfolio implications
Cross-product/BU insights aggregation
Quarterly reporting preparation, cost reporting, product operational performance and customer experience product monitoring
Reporting Standards & Stewardship - Standardized reports & tools with validated data access, Data profiling – making sure that everyone speaks the same language of the data, Define role-based security, who can have access to what data, Data quality and integrity
Works to ensure efficient Business Operations product development
Lead necessary business simplification and enhancements to support Digital Services Business operations
Build an organization that is in service to and provides operational excellence the Digital Services BU
Leads a business Data & Analytics and Program Management team in support of the Digital Services key initiatives
Support the success of direct customers, resellers, and partners
Strategically evaluate and drive alignment and decision-making
Drives innovation among the teams, recognizes innovation, and helps communicate new ideas across teams in multiple global locations
Defines the expected financial, operational and customer experience performance and ensures these expectations

Qualifications
15+ years of experience at a high growth tech company or technology-focused enterprise in business operations, data center infrastructure
Strong software, cloud, business and business operations experience
Executive presence and demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing and collaborating in cross-functional environments
Demonstrated experience building a thriving culture aligned to Equinix values.
Master’s degree in Product Management, Business or Technology preferred
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $225,000 to $405,000
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
