The Enterprise Software Developer and Engineer Staff is an accomplished full stack Developer with extensive front-end web development experience performing software development and performance data analysis.

The individual contributor will be joining the Equinix Global Operations Academy (GOA) Training & Development creative and cohesive team. The GOA works within a multi-disciplinary team of IBX Technicians, Engineers, IT & HR business partners to architect and design world class training solutions for Global Operations.

In this role of full stack developer, you will be responsible for all aspects of website development including interpreting requirements, design implementation, coding, maintenance, testing, and optimization webpages special integration projects, performance, and data analysis.

Job Summary:

A mid-level full stack developer with prime front-end development expertise with 5-6 years proven work experience and passion for building engaging web experiences from concept to launch. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, project core team, and project managers to launch transformative new eLearning web experiences. The ideal candidate will have a high level of competence with mobile-first web development best practices, understanding of web frame and UI design concepts. A self-starter and ambition for continuous learning about new technologies and loves the challenge of building custom websites.

Required Skillsets/Knowledge/Abilities:

• 4-6 years of deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular
• Experience building UIs with modern tools like ES6, React, Redux, D3
• Commanding Knowledge of CSS framework like Bootstrap or Foundation. Strong markup skills of HTML, CSS frameworks and pre-processors, understanding of adaptive/responsive concept. Through understanding of mobile responsive and grid-based design
• Familiarity with Single Page Applications (SPA) and Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
• Experience developing responsive layouts compatible with a wide array of browsers and viewports
• Excellent understanding of HTTP, cookies, caching, and HTML5 web storage
• Strong knowledge of JSON/YAML, REST APIs writing documentation to tie front-end and back-end code utilizing multiple configuration tools and GUI’s.
• 2-3 years of experience with reporting domains and database reporting using SQL, MYSQL
• Proven ability in implementing best/excellent practices and Design Patterns
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving and strong analytical skills
• Knowledgeable in agile development processes in SDLC, including sprint planning, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions
• Work with team leads on adhoc special integration projects
• Aptitude to learn the Learning & Development domain, LXP, LMS applications and relevant technology

Qualifications:

• BS or higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years working in large scale enterprise software development or IT environments
• 2+ years of Front-End engineering experience with Web-based frameworks and languages including React.JS and Typescript
• Program Management certification such as PMP, CSPO, CSM is a plus

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: 

• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area:  $111,000 to $185,000 

• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state:  $104,000 to $172,000 
• Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island:  $94,000 to $156,000 

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
