Overview of the Summer Internship Program
Interns are an important part of our global team—they solve real-world business challenges and make a difference. If you’re a forward-thinking, hard-working university student who loves to learn and wants to make a positive impact on the world while growing your career, come help us shape the digital world.
Summer internships at Equinix are paid, full-time for 12 consecutive weeks with two program start/end dates available to accommodate different school term systems. These will be running between May 23rd – August 12th and June 12th – September 9th. To be eligible to apply you will need to have a minimum of 6-12 months of studies remaining once your internship with us have concluded.

We are looking for our next stellar group of interns to join our HR and Community & Belonging organizations for our 12-week global program starting in early summer 2022. This summer we will be hiring interns in the following teams in the AMER region: HR Services, Talent Management, Compensation, Impact Operations and DI&B.
You will spend your time gaining practical work experience and learning from some of the sharpest minds in the industry, work in a culture that thrives on innovation and delivering results, while building solid relationships with industry leaders, and fellow students from across the region and the world!

What you can expect (Responsibilities/Tasks)
Work on meaningful, high impact projects that will add true value to our business
Opportunity to network and collaborate with other interns, building relationships across the globe
Take part in our global program with executive speaker series, networking events, shark tank project presentations and so much more!
Gain knowledge and understanding of HR and Community & Belonging practices and initiatives through hands-on involvement in areas in which we support our global clients
Who you are (Requirements/Qualifications)
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your Bachelor’s or Master's degree studies (Graduation between December 2022-September 2023)
Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between May to September, depending on your school system)
Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English
Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others
Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software
