Job Summary: The Strategy Finance Manager will be part of a lean and high-impact team. The individual will be involved in managing and supporting many aspects of the Company’s strategic initiatives. This critical role will be responsible for delivering high quality financial and non-financial information to enable key decision making, including those involved in M&A transactions and company-wide transformation initiatives. The individual will interact regularly with Corporate Development, the Transformation Office, as well as other functions of Finance.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, and execute a variety of strategic initiatives, including strategic projects, partnerships. acquisitions, and investments
Provide opportunity evaluation and assessment, business case and modeling review & development
Lead and manage financial due diligence & issue resolution
Project management support including preparation of project plans, transaction communication decks and issues trackers.
Review agreements, term sheets and non-binding offers and identify deal related financial risks and comment on financials terms to address risks identified in the FDD process
Cultivate and build strong, productive working relationships with all stakeholders within Finance (e.g., Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Risk, etc.) and outside of Finance (e.g., Transformation Office, Corporate Development, FP&A, Legal, etc.)
Assist with other projects, as needed, including Joint Ventures (JVs) and/or divestitures
Prepare presentations to key stakeholders to enable key decision making
Assist with other work-streams within Strategy Finance on an as-needed
Qualifications
5+ years of total finance and accounting experience with a minimum of 4 years working within the transaction advisory group of a Big 4 (or equivalent), corporate M&A Finance, Corporate Development or Private Equity
CPA/CFA qualification preferred
Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity
Exposure with quality of earnings, debt and debt-like items, and net working capital analysis
Exposure with valuation and Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) would be a plus but not required
Hand-on financial modeling skills and business cases development to support investment and business decisions
Aptitude for numerical analysis, highly analytical with strong modeling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to concisely convey complex details to a broad audience
Hands-on, can-do attitude, results orientated, highly organized and a team player
Masters degree preferred
