Job Summary
Seeking an Oracle RMCS and RevPro Technical resource with extensive experience in Oracle Cloud RMCS modules & RevPro. Interact with key stakeholders in Technical and Functional IT teams and apply Revenue Management domain technical & functional proficiency including Requirements Elicitation, Design, Build and Deployment of solutions for supporting Oracle Cloud RMCS application.


Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis

  • Reviews, analyzes and gives feedback on requirements/functional designs


Software/Application Architecture

  • Participates in architectural review process


Software Design

  • Designs for larger enhancements and projects

  • Conducts peer design reviews


Development/Coding

  • Develops and maintains code for larger enhancements, projects and integrations

  • Fixes defects and participates and conducts peer code review

  • Follows design and coding standards and processes

  • Conducts code performance analysis and tuning


Application QA

  • Develops unit and cross functional tests, develops test strategies, executes test cases, logs issues, manages issues, recommends testing frameworks and records and runs automated test scripts


DevOps

  • Defines deployment and release guidelines

  • Defines and executes environment planning and cross-functional dependencies

  • Documents the software configuration management practices and educates cross-functional stakeholders on the process and tools


Software Reliability & Support Engineering

  • Captures, consolidates and maintains inventory of production applications, flows and systems for all the software engineering verticals

  • Helps in preparing application support documentation

  • Troubleshoots basic application issues with the help of knowledgebase documents

Qualifications

  • Configuration, customization, development, and deployment of the Oracle RMCS module, ensuring reporting and compliance requirements

  • Well versed with Revenue Recognition Rules, Performance Obligations templates, Contract Grouping rules, Allocations, SSP Rules, Satisfaction Events

  • Ensure seamless integration of RMCS with other Oracle Cloud modules such as Oracle Subscription Management, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Projects, facilitating efficient end-to-end revenue management processes

  • Experience with data migration tools like FBDI, ADFdi, or OTBI

  • Experience with Reporting Tools like BI Publisher, OTBI

  • Experienced in implementing and integrating Oracle RMCS APIs for end-to-end revenue automation

  • Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware

  • Have in depth knowledge of Data model and RMCS PVO’s

  • Worked on Custom Period End Revenue Report requirements

  • Proficient in Oracle RMCS revenue accounting and subledger integration

  • Strong understanding of Accounting and Compliance standards - ASC 606 / IFRS 15

  • Implement security, role provisioning, and access control aligned with SOX and internal controls

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and data issues related to revenue accounting

  • Work on data migration from Legacy Revenue Systems into RMCS
