Job Summary

You will: 1) identify and evaluate multiple sources of data to generate key performance indicators and conduct performance analytics for availability and service management; 2) use the principles of lean product development to establish reporting capability for the information through easy to use interfaces and report generators in real time; and 3) provide analysis to drive assurance of achieving operational goals and performance targets.

The role will work cross-functionally across Data Center Operations and Engineering teams, Information Technology, and with other senior leaders to align with established Key Performance Indicators and establish a robust, global, and scalable solution. The performance data to be extracted, compiled, and exposed will be used to improve operational processes and will be considered in future planning and decision-making to drive higher levels of datacenter performance. 

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the global Data Center performance management function

  • Expose data via dashboards and other methods

  • Develop processes to capture information, conduct analysis, and share findings 

  • Create roadmap to build capability over time, including gathering inputs from multiple systems and integrating this data to create a holistic view of performance  

  • Identify/create key performance indicators to ensure alignment and information consistency

  • Conduct analysis of information collected to identify performance risks, draw conclusions, and share discoveries, observations, and conclusions on the operational health across the Data Center portfolio 

  • Work closely with the global operations teams to drive improvements to reduce/eliminate identified risks

  • Maintain and manage a dynamic backlog of tool enhancement work impacting business operations and supported customers

  • Provide leadership with metrics on team efficiency and prioritize areas for strategic improvement

  • Work with operations leadership to prioritize and schedule strategic projects based on their impact to the business

  • Identify and implement methods to scale solutions

  • Report on the impact and benefits of executed projects

Qualifications

Required experience

  • Solid experience working in the Data Center industry

  • Strong background in analytics (data analysis, business analyst, etc.)

  • Project Management - Technical

Additional preferred experience

  • Solid experience measuring system performance in an operations environment, preferably Data Center

  • Experience in the administration and management of service level agreements

  • Excellent analytical skills and the demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement programs

  • KPI Development, tracking, analysis and reporting operational performance metrics

  • Management related to quality and service improvement initiatives (technology projects preferred)

  • Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends or exceptions and drive improvements and find/implement solutions

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $113,000 - $155,000 per year with 25% bonus target.
