Job Summary: Our Digital Services and Technology Finance team is looking for a strategic business partner who is responsible for supporting our Edge Infrastructure Services business to jointly drive profitability and financial health.  This team is crafted to provide highly motivated, skilled, and naturally curious individuals an opportunity for career development at a growing company. The Sr. Manager will be focusing to own the area of FP&A which includes, but not limited to monthly forecast, annual budget, quarterly mentorship, strategic long term financial planning, KPI management, modeling, roadmap alignment support, and executive presentation.  This role requires an individual who is not only able to manage existing processes and cadences, but also establish “outside the box” thinking while influencing stakeholders cross functionally. This highly matrix-oriented role is a meaningful liaison to not only within finance, but also with Digital Services business, marketing, sales, legal, and other functions.  The ideal candidate is high energy, adaptable, detail oriented, and an expert leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational and people leadership skills who will also able to balance two types of business speeds between nimble digital world and robust core businesses.
 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and take ownership of Edge Infrastructure Services FP&A functions

  • Act as trusted Finance advisor to our cross functional business leaders, anticipate needs, and make recommendations based on knowledge of industry while supporting Edge Infrastructure Services roadmaps 

  • Analyze data and provide information encompassing what, why, and so what

  • Innovate beyond the data to prepare for future-state 

  • Review and establish financial and non-financial KPI’s (key performance indicators) 

  • Deliver and craft high-quality presentations for senior executives and business partners

  • Lead, motivate, and empower a team to embody our culture of Magic of Equinix

  • Identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and interpersonal challenges and drive process improvements and efficiencies through automation

  • Ad Hoc Analysis 

Qualifications

  • 7+ year experience in forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis & executive level presentations preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field preferred

  • Digital / SaaS business experience a plus

  • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong numerical, writing, analytical, and modeling skills with an attention to detail

  • Ability to lead and work well independently and in groups in a highly metrics organization in person and remotely

For CO residents: In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for this role is $101k – $142k per year with 25% bonus target.
