Job Summary
The Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer plays a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that enhance business processes and improve service delivery. This position requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its capabilities, best practices, and integration with other systems. The architect will work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the ServiceNow implementation aligns with organizational goals and delivers maximum value.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary technical point-of-contact for the ServiceNow Corporate platform and as the face of the engineering team

  • Define, at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned with the business problems and ServiceNow implementation best practices

  • Responsible for defining and executing governance framework and controls around platform architecture and development best practices

  • Monitor engineers work, and own overall quality and delivery of development; may perform a portion of development that cannot be delegated

  • Manage all aspects of application development, including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting systems, query optimization, and report-writing            

  • Experience with implementing integrations with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, Discovery and Core module (Incident, MIM, Problem, Knowledge, Change, ESS)

  • Creation of script-based assignment and approval rules, custom-related lists, access control list, UI policy, and client script

  • Experience with ServiceNow for custom application design and development

  • Create and execute development plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

  • Knowledge of ITIL V3 and V4 processes and hands-on with ITIL process implementation

  • Experience working in Agile scrum methodology of delivery


Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in application development at a SaaS, PaaS, or Enterprise software development company preferred

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems preferred or demonstrated work experience

  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM products

  • Proven experience on ServiceNow Platform with an in-depth understanding of ServiceNow architecture

  • Experience with documentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, MIro, Lucid Chart)

  • Experience with IT systems and technology platforms

  • Adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to consult as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions

  • Knowledge of ITIL, minimum Foundation and/or CSDM, Common Service Data Model.

  • Proficient in: ITSM and ITOM

  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS,

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

  • Strong scripting skills in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc.

  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 118,000 - 176,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
