Responsibilities

• Suggest, assist in identify, setting up sales strategy

• Set up sales plan in order to archive sales target required by the company.

• Detailing sales action plan to ensure that the target will be achieved on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

• Support, motivate staff member to achieve individual and team target

• Supervise daily work of sales staff

• Liaise closely with HR department in solving daily HR issues including discipline compliance, work attitude, etc.

• Build up good relationship with service provider in Telco and IT industries.

• Prospect for new customers, sell the Equinix value proposition and manage customer acquisition process throughout sales cycle

• Manage the assigned existing customers to increase their spending, reduce churn, and ensure maximum profitability of customers

• Deliver business value with handling quotation, site tours and contracts to potential customers

• Understand customer's IT requirements, Organization structures and Decision Making Process to identify opportunities and provide Equinix solutions.

• Work closely with other job functions in the company to improve the overall customer satisfaction level.

• Timely, comprehensively and accurately update Sales Force Dot Com (SFDC) to ensure the management team has the detailed records on every customer activities.

• Collect and report market intelligence, such as competitor activity, market pricing and demand trends.

• Other duties reasonably relating to this position

Requirements

• Degree holder or equivalent

• Minimum 15 years in sales with a minimum of 8 years in supervising position, preferably in telecommunications and IT industry

• Proven track record in driving team for hunting new business in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southern China

• Be able to articulate the company’s value proposition and formulate strategy for differentiation over competition

• Knowledge of selling through Telco and IT industries to their end-users and various channel models

• Prior working experience in MNC sales and matrix organization

• Solid experiences and senior contacts with Banking, Finance, Security and Insurance (BFSI) industry

• Good written and verbal communication skill in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must

• Good presentation skill

• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills

• Able to work well under pressure, and with team members in other parts of the organization

• Computer knowledge, familiar with Microsoft Office, SFDC
