Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive our Network Edge offering to the next level, enabling our customers to easily deploy hybrid multi-cloud networking capabilities -- from our marketplace of leading technology vendors -- to achieve their digital aspirations while achieving end-to-end management, performance, standardization, security, and compliance goals. As an individual contributor you will have broad responsibilities to tactically manage the backlog based on a deep understanding of customer needs and ROI, and strategically develop the roadmap based on critically assessing new market opportunities. Responsibilities
Execute the Network Edge strategy to power the world’s digital leaders with digital infrastructure
Help identify and grow the marketplace with new technology vendors including opportunity analysis, planning, GTM strategy, execution and launch through strong vendor collaboration
Partner with and deeply listen to customers and field sales to identify unmet needs and new use cases
Manage and communicate the roadmap. Participate in creating a shared vision and clear goals for the product
Manage the backlog: Prioritize the few items to move forward among many candidates based on an analysis of the business opportunity vs level of effort
Partner with UX, solution architects, and engineering to ideate solutions, placing a premium on user experience
Collaborate with product engineering, network architects, network deployment, and service delivery teams in the rollout of new offers, releases, and markets
Manage stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions; Identify and proactively include correct stakeholders and communicate effectively; Understand stakeholder needs and build effective relationships; Utilize effective methods of communication with stakeholders, varying approaches accordingly
Validate ideas with customers before, during, and after development
Define metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements
Keep GTM and supportability front-of-mind in designing product offerings
Design product training curriculum; participates in cross-functional training and meetings
Run the business: analyze and optimize value chain activities; establish and monitor KPIs; implements course corrections as needed
Other responsibilities include supporting market assessments with qualitative and quantitative research; validate the problem space; size the market; meaningfully segment it; determine segment attractiveness, develop theory of competitive advantage and implications for value chain; create business case and impacts to EBITDA. Research competitors and verticals; prepares reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potential
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in a software product management role
Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE or relevant field of study, MBA preferred
A proven track record building complex software for Networks and/or XaaS. Direct experience in onboarding partner solutions/products on XaaS providers desired
An end-to-end understanding of one or more of the following – Cloud/multi-cloud networking, Data Center networks, Metro/Carrier Networks, Mobile Networks (e.g. 5G)
An end-to-end understanding of cloud technologies in IaaS, PaaS and/or SaaS – virtualization, networking, SDN, NFV, management and orchestration (e.g. K8s), APIs, etc
Passion for learning/mastering new technologies and bringing them together to build end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $134,000 to $242,000
California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $128,000 to $231,000
Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $116,000 to $210,000
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
