Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive our Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions to the next level, enabling our customers to easily monitor the data center environment and their cage and power -- to achieve their digital aspirations while achieving their IT infrastructure operations and management goals. You will both tactically manage the backlog based on a deep understanding of customer needs and return-on-investment and strategically develop the roadmap based on critically assessing new opportunities from customer feedback and customer journey. DCIM is one of the fastest-growing solutions at Equinix, And we are just getting started.
Lead the customer journey effort and deeply listen to customers and field sales to identify unmet needs and new use cases
Communicate the roadmap. Participate in creating a shared vision and clear goals for the product
Partner with Equinix Operations organization to have deep insights on critical issues and future growth of the Operation team
Define and execute the plan with the prioritization among customer requests, Operations needs, and production issues
Define metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements
Partner with UX, solution architects, and engineering to ideate solutions, placing a premium on user experience
Validate ideas with customers before, during, and after development
Work with Technical Product Managers to prioritize the few items to move forward among many candidates based on an analysis of the business opportunity vs level of effort
Support market assessments with qualitative and quantitative research; validate the problem space; size the market; meaningfully segment it; determine segment attractiveness; develop a theory of competitive advantage and implications for value chain; create business case and impacts to EBITDA
Research competitors and verticals; prepare reports related to financial position, competitive position, and market potential
Manage stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions; Identity and proactively include correct stakeholders and communications effectively; Understand stakeholder needs and build effective relationships; Utilize effective methods of communication with stakeholders, varying approaches accordingly
Design product training curriculum; participate in cross-functional training and meetings
Collaborate with Product Marketing and Partner Marketing on GTM alignment to enable direct sales, partners, and technology partners
7+ years of experience in product management for enterprise SaaS products
Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE or relevant field of study, MBA preferred
An end-to-end understanding of one or more of the following – Data Center Infrastructure, Internet of Things (IoT), Colocation with multi-tenant networks, Data Analytics, Near-Real time processing
An end-to-end understanding of cloud technologies in PaaS and/or SaaS – virtualization, messaging, microservices, management and orchestration, APIs, etc.
Expert influencer & collaborator who is skilled at building strong relationships with multiple key stakeholders at all levels

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $116,000 – $163,000 per year with 20% bonus target.
