Responsibilities
Technology Project Planning and Execution (Single Project with a start date and end date. Plan, Execute, Close)
Scopes and plans for very large technology projects (Focus area will be Cloud Security Program Management)
Identifies resources and obtains resource commitment from line managers
Selects and applies project methodology to projects, educates team members, and enforces processes
Presents project effort estimation and acquire project budget
Conducts project review meetings with directors and VPs
Technology Program Management (On-going program with multiple projects and teams Identify, Change, Empower, Monitor)
Introduces large program process changes to directors and VPs
Implements large program process changes across departments
Defines program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Introduces teamwork concepts and foster a healthy teamwork environment
Plans for long-term program resources
Facilitates program retrospective meetings
Defines and documents roles and responsibilities
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Builds relationships with company VPs and directors
Communicates major project/program scope, schedule, resource, and budget changes
Responsible for driving and influencing senior leadership decision making
Is able to effectively identify appropriate stakeholders
Builds and maintains effective working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
Ability to drive conflict resolution between stakeholders, including senior management and cross functional teams
Sets and influences stakeholder expectations related to technology initiatives
Responsible for transparent communication to stakeholders related to technology initiatives
Technology Project Methodologies
Obtains consensus among team members on project methodology, process, and templates
Program Management Tools
Introduces new tools or new tool features to IT and other departments
Project Management
Identifies ways to increase the efficiency of all IT projects
Management Reporting
Participates in monthly operational reviews of operational performance and roadmap status
Executes against operational KPIs
Reviews, identifies areas for improvement and makes recommendations to leadership
Resource and Budget Management
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plans that are agreed upon by upper management
Works closely across IT to track resource allocation and utilization for projects
Works closely with Line Managers to track resource allocation and utilization for larger projects
Requests approvals for additional expenses outside of approved budget/headcount
Communicates budget estimates for cross functional projects/programs, and ensures teams execute assigned projects within approved budgets
Manages and/or escalates issues, as needed
Process/Policies/Standards
Assist with evangelizing processes, policies and standards across all stakeholders
Measures performance against process goals
Proactively seeks continuous improvement opportunities in process/ policies/ standards
Road Map/Planning
Responsible for leading strategic planning, influencing and driving prioritization of initiatives with functional stakeholders
Responsible for developing and communicating a roadmap of projects and initiatives to functional stakeholders
Review/Approvals/Escalations/Issues Resolution
Identifies and prioritizes areas for optimization
Responsible for identification of significantly impactful/high risk issues, appropriate prioritization, resource assignment and ownership, and overseeing process through closure of issue while ensuring appropriate escalation and visibility to senior management teams
Oversees and supports RCA cycles, reviews management level reports related to issues and escalations
For more complex and higher risk issues, the manager will draft and support reviews Senior Leadership review cycles
Vendor Management
Manages/leads individual consultants or consulting teams, as assigned
Understands vendor roadmaps, manages relationships, feedback and escalations, negotiations and contract renewals
Reviews and proposes final vendor selections
Manages day-to-day vendor relationships and holds vendors accountable to their deliverables
Resolves vendor issues and escalates as needed
Country/Regional Management
Executes against approved initiatives
Manages relationships with regional/functional stakeholders
Defines, presents and obtains leadership approval for local execution strategy, aligned to global standards
Qualifications
10+ years experience
3+ years professional experience in a supervisory/managerial role
Associate's degree preferred
Information Security Domain Experience
Preferred advanced degree in relevant field (Cybersecurity, IT)
Strong understanding of information security control frameworks (CIS20, NIST, ISO) and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
Experience with the following is preferred: cloud security, zero trust, SOCII
CISSP certification or similar (CCSP, CISM, Security+)
Experience implementing NIST 800-53 frameworks as well as other related compliance standards on IT project
Familiarity with Cybersecurity support functions such as Configuration Management, Incident Response, Contingency Planning, Disaster Recovery, and the lik
Familiarity with network security, continuous monitoring, system auditing, and security policy development
Familiarity with vulnerability remediation activities, scanning, and analysis

For CO residents: In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $116K – $163K per year with 25% bonus target.
For NYC residents: In accordance with NYC Pay Transparency Law (https://legistar.council.nyc.gov/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=3713951&GUID=E7B03ABA-8F42-4341-A0D2-50E2F95320CD&Options=Advanced&Search= ) the salary range for this role is $128K – $231K per year with 25% bonus target.
