We are looking to strengthen our DX product management leadership with a proven leader who can lead a team of world-class product managers in Digital Experience organization to deliver modern software-based digital experience for our customers and channel partners.
Product Management Leadership
Lead a team of product managers tasked with delivering a world-class online digital experience and APIs
Execute on Digital Experience Vision and strategy including unification of portal experiences
Drive strategy and execution to deliver modern digital experience for customer’s end-to-end journey including prospect-to-trial, trial-to-subscription, renewals, quote-to-cash, fulfillment, support-to-resolution
Drive API strategy and execution for digital experience
Be the product owner for the primary customer portal - Equinix Customer Portal (ECP). Bring thought leadership in modern digital experiences for customer portal. Direct the global Equinix Customer Portal (ECP) roadmap for priority, focus and themes in order to consolidate multiple customer-facing portals into a unified experience
Be comfortable and effective in working in a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed environment, and work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to craft a compelling product roadmap
Develop and maintain relationships with the larger Product Management team to influence and optimize digital experiences suitable for customer segments and product categories
Manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities while balancing the DX strategic direction setting go to market timelines and effectively managing expectations
Bring strategic mindset in evaluating and prioritizing competing requirements including features, bugs, enabler work, and tech debt; working regularly with the scrum leads to refine and add detail where needed
Work with core product managers, business functional teams and platform engineering team to define deliverables for any given release within the product development lifecycle
Work with Reporting/Analytics teams to define meaningful metrics for gaining insights into user behavior and business impact
Work closely with Engineering and UI/UX partners to effectively execute on deliverables
Motivate and excite the Product Team towards a vision of a unified Equinix portal experience and provide strategic direction towards the digital experience vision
Lead the product management function including planning, initiative development, and deployment
Be accountable for the performance and results of direct reports, teams, and area of responsibility
Define succession plan and people development strategy
Effectively lead regular and annual performance management for team and equitably allocate rewards for direct reports
Proactively drive talent development, including quarterly conversations, career pathways conversations and individual development/growth plans
Be a model for Equinix Culture and Values
Foster and promote high engagement, performance and collaboration while providing strategic direction across several local & remote teams
Build and maintain healthy relationships at all levels of the organization - evangelizing the team, aligning on common goals, and creating a shared vision
15+ years of experience in a software product management role
At least 5 years of experience leading product management teams
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree of Business Administration preferred
Experience with developing software services based digital platform in an enterprise environment
Experience in product management of a SaaS and or cloud-based software products
Experience developing a personalized user experience based on user’s behavior expectations
Strategic thinking with a clear understanding of levers that drive modern SAAS based digital experience
Experience managing a global team, which encompasses working in Europe, APAC and AMER time zones
Knowledge of processes and digital experience for Quote to cash, trials, subscription, billing and support
Must be comfortable collaborating with engineering on solving problems
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and bring out the best in the team
Have a “get it done” mindset and bring creativity and strategic thought every day
Significant experience in presentations to internal and external executives
Understanding of datacenter, cloud, network and interconnection products and services will be useful but not required
