Job Summary

Equinix is on a transformational journey to meet our future needs as a growing and evolving platform company.  Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Process Solutions, the Senior Manager, Enterprise Process Solutions will lead a team of process professionals that will play an active role in shaping the transformation.  The Senior Manager, Enterprise Process Solutions will be a visionary leader with outstanding decision-making and problem-solving abilities who is skilled at building high-performing teams that develop and implement creative process-centric solutions to business challenges.  We are seeking a business savvy, enthusiastic, and results-oriented self-starter with highly effective execution and communication skills and proven ability to build followership quickly.  The successful candidate will be comfortable and able to deliver high quality solutions and deliverables in a highly dynamic, complex, and high-paced environment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Team Management 

  • Build, develop and lead a team of process professionals (e.g., process architects and engineers) responsible for the duties below 

  • Promote a culture of employee engagement, innovation, collaboration, and high performance 

  • Design and implement the infrastructure needed for the team to operate effectively (tools, processes, operating model, etc.) 

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s key business capabilities and core processes 

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of business performance and outcomes, strategy, technology, and operations to recommend and implement changes to existing processes that deliver expected benefits 

  • Translate business requirements into optimized business processes 

  • Develop, analyze, and propose solutions that achieve objectives, balancing effort, cost, impact, and speed 

  • Evaluate and quantify the health and maturity of business processes  

  • Understand deficiencies with current processes and associated root causes 

  • Determine and apply appropriate methodologies, tools, and best practices for analysis, solutioning, and deployment 

  • Support the rapid delivery of incremental value to stakeholders, leveraging experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and backlog prioritization 

  • Lead cross-functional teams in gathering business rules, requirements, and success criteria  

  • Lead discussions and workshops to determine options, drive stakeholder alignment, define key performance metrics, and propose future state solutions to leaders 

  • Support full implementation and change management to ensure adoption of new and revised processes 

  • Build collaborative connections with stakeholders, providing thought leadership as a trusted advisor, to deliver desired results 

  • Drive the maturity of the process architecture practice 

 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • 7+ years leading global, cross-functional end-to-end process redesign, transformation, and improvement initiatives 

  • 5+ years leading a team of process professionals (e.g., process architects and engineers) 

  • Fluency in translating business objectives and insights into optimal process design 

  • Demonstrated ability to translate lean, six sigma, and process improvement tools and methodologies into simple, practical action 

  • Success at leading cross-functional workshops and alignment events 

  • Demonstrated success influencing senior leadership decision making, facilitating problem solving, and mediating conflict 

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work, work autonomously with minimal oversight, and be proactive with communications and task prioritization 

  • Strong business acumen 

  • Deep knowledge of and experience with project management methodologies 

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft suite of Office products, including Visio 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • MBA or similar advanced degree a strong plus 

  • Lean Six Sigma black belt certification or equivalent experience and/or Agile certification a strong plus 

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of lead-to-cash processes a strong plus

For Colorado Residents: In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for this role is $116,000 – $163,000 per year with 25% bonus target.
