Job Summary:

Product-Led Growth Solutions Leader owns defining strategy for Platform Equinix growth solutions stemming from product adoption and usage which includes the customer experience. PLGSL provides strategic product input to Corp Business Development strategy leader and partners to DS GTM leader influencing and supporting the DS GTM motion. This role provides PLG solutions across the Digital Interconnection and Networking, Edge Infrastructure Services and the Platform, User and Central Engineering teams.

This incumbent defines how we should be thinking about and operationalizing PLG solutions and is responsible for supporting and accelerating PLG products and services growth. In this role, this leader will ensure PLG  product development processes are scalable, secure, agile, consistent, fit for purpose and continue to evolve with Platform Equinix as technology changes. They will also be responsible for delivering on PLG roadmap by partnering with Product Managers and business leaders finding product-market fit, building early business traction in the market and establishing a path to scale. This role reports to the EVP & General Manager, Digital Services and will lead  a team reporting into them.

Responsibilities:

• Product Evangelistic Leader who instills PLG thinking and mindset across DS and GTM teams
• Evolve our mix of products and services to deliver the solutions and experience our customers want
• Delivers on PLG roadmap by partnering with [Product Managers]
• Responsible for profitability of this product set
• Research new ideas seeking opportunities with the potential to create additional platform value
• Key Partner and Stakeholder to DS GTM  leader
• Consultative approach to imbedding PLG thinking and mindset into each product line
• Filter ideas down to specific, tangible concepts with Equinix fit and attractive market opportunity
• Intense focus on how to make products such that product adoption accelerates growth
• Product strategist with consultative approach
• PLG design thinker and evangelist
• Define and communicate concept, vision, strategy of PLG solutions aligned with platform strategy
• Create a viable business model, define the market and establish key milestones
• Monitor industry trends and market transitions to defend, extend and expand the platform
• Experiment, take risks, gain knowledge by failing fast, adapt and iterate to maximize outcomes points of value and specific feature requirements
• Find product feature control points to win in the market
• Develop operational scalability features and support models
• Validate business case and pricing strategy for PLG solutions

Knowledge and Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in software management leading large global software teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Experience leading and developing a common services platform with multiple upstream applications
• Deep Product Expertise
• Proven experience as a strategic thought leader
• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of Equinix’s customers, offerings, organization, competitive landscape and market opportunities
