Responsibilities
The Sr. Director, IT Enterprise Applications – HR will ensure the HR system strategy and architecture is effective, efficient and scalable while aligned with Equinix’s overarching enterprise systems strategy. You will advise on best-in-class technical solutions and market practices and guide HR on the best technical solution to deliver against their business needs.
Partner with HR to develop and maintain a technology vision, strategy and roadmap that is capable of scale, identifying potential areas of risk while meeting business and technology modernization needs.
Own all development and configuration, based on the agreed user requirements.
Responsible for vendor / system led system enhancements and changes and support HR in managing these changes (e.g. release management).
Drive technology transformation: Enable simplified processes and lead implementation of new solutions to enhance delivery speed and product quality.
Own relationship with HR system vendors including contracts, RFP and renewals.
Managing IT budget for HR functional domain, including people strategy and vendor sourcing.
Be a change champion by promoting and practicing a change-oriented mindset to invigorate transformative initiatives and ensure successful implementation across teams.
Be a transformative leader with the ability to see opportunities to drive change.
Lead prioritization by managing consistency of demand prioritization, product quality, and project delivery for application development.
Ensure on-target delivery of applications. Monitor performance of ongoing application development through performance and resource metrics and development plans.
Motivate and lead team around shared vision.
Qualifications
15+ years in IT discipline requiring direct management of applications systems, personnel, and budget, preferably in the tech industry, with a global team.
Experience leading technology transformation, with emphasis in HR and employee enabling applications.
Proven track record of evaluating and implementing industry leading SaaS solutions for HR.
Experience leading an organization through an agile transformation and/ or through cloud migration.
Exceptional ability to collaborate with business stakeholder teams to align on cross-functional processes.
Excellent problem-solving ability to understand business stakeholder needs, drive prioritization, and deliver systems.
Adept at inspiring behavior change through motivating teams, planning initiatives, designating priorities, and being decisive when faced with ambiguity.
Ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision and influence across the organization.
Ability to be execution-driven and results-oriented to ensure strategy translates to outcomes.
Experience implementing and supporting an enterprise-wide employee enabling systems.
Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, HiredScore, Clinch, Anaplan, Confluence, and ADP, or equivalent applications.
