Job Summary: The Senior Benefits Manager is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of the Americas Region benefits programs (including medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, risk insurances etc.). This will also involve evaluating, designing, and implementing new benefit strategies for a constantly evolving and high-growth environment. This role will lead the Americas Region benefits team and closely partner with our global broker to manage existing country benefit programs as well as help us grow and scale our processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Americas Region Benefits function to effectively design, implement, administer, and manage the benefits programs, policies, and initiatives across our North American and LATAM countries

  • Manage program budgets, benchmarking strategies, and third-party consultant/ broker/ vendor relationship

  • Keeps up to date on regulations and new legislation; ensuring all country programs and policies are legally compliant; and oversee audits and any required filings

  • Leads ongoing vendor partnerships with various benefit programs. This includes evaluating benefit program effectiveness, understanding the employee experience, and providing adjustments and/or recommendations to evolve the benefit programs

  • Manages and delivers the annual US open enrolment process working with third parties/internal stakeholders to ensure a good employee experience

  • Works collaboratively with payroll to ensure benefit payments, deductions and contributions are processed timely and accurately

  • Builds positive relationships with internal business partners by understanding organizational priorities

  • Proactively identifies and implements process improvements helping us to grow and scale our administration processes

  • Supports and contributes to Global Benefits initiatives, such as planning and execution of global programs as well as M&A projects

  • Leads, manages and develops the Americas Region benefits team to meet both current and future business needs

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of U.S. Benefits experience including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, group insurance and leave programs ideally with LATAM experience

  • Successful management and accountability of a multi-million-dollar benefits budget

  • A successful track record of working effectively in a highly matrixed and fast-growing organization with prior experience of leading teams

  • Proven track record of vendor management and negotiation ensuring agreed service standards are met

  • Demonstrate a strong customer service focus whilst being detail oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
