Responsibilities
Product Lifecycle Management
As Senior Associate Product Manager, you support the execution of product strategy through research and analysis and assists with the tactical execution of product roadmap efforts.
Supports lead product managers on driving new, improving existing, or retiring products within the Equinix portfolio of offerings.
Develops project plans, executes product lifecycle tasks, captures product requirements, and collaborates with business and technology teams
Assists in the development of product strategy and the creation and ongoing support of the product vision and roadmap
Supports in researching competitors and verticals; prepares typical reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potential Business Case Development
Compiles and analyzes product performance reports and provides insight and recommendations to product management
Participates in regular touch points with key internal stakeholders and customers to solicit feedback for new product ideas and improvements to existing product functionality
Establishes a basic understanding of existing product processes and technology Product Strategy, Vision and Roadmap
Completes ad-hoc assignments that assist in the development of product strategy and roadmap Market, Competitive and Customer Analysis
Provides basic training to other internal departments in support of product
Supports in the prioritization of product backlog and works regularly with lead product managers and operations/engineering teams to improve delivery efficiency and roadmap goals
Supports cross-functional test cases and helps coordinate/execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions
Qualifications
BA or BS in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics or related field
3+ years experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous internship experience(s) in Product Management or related field
Demonstrated leadership in academic and non-academic settings
Exceptional communication skills
Customer-obsessed and relentless in leveraging insights to in‐ form the right priorities and decisions
Strong program and project management skills with an ability to execute complex initiatives
