Job Summary
The SEC reporting team is looking to hire a SEC Reporting Analyst. The individual in this role participates in the preparation and filing of external reports mandated by U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations and supports the quarterly reviews and annual audit process. In addition, this role will provide you broader exposure to operational accounting and other complex accounting transactions.
Responsibilities
You will assist in the Company’s external financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual reporting (Form 10-Q and Form 10-Q), other SEC filings (e.g. Form S-3, Form 8-K) and other financial reporting as required
Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and documentation for SEC filings
Assist with or review of the XBRL process
Assist with stock-based compensation accounting and forecast
Remain current with new technical accounting standards, particularly those that impact financial reporting
Interface effectively with numerous individuals both inside and outside the Company, including the external auditors, to address and resolve accounting issues
Assist in the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts in connection with the financial reporting process
Assist with ad-hoc requests and research as needed
Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
You are required to have your CPA or CPA equivalent
You are qualified if you have at least 4 years of relevant experience from public accounting with experiences in auditing public companies
Detailed and results oriented and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
You have a strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and SEC reporting regulations
Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Oracle Cloud and/or Hyperion experience is a plus
Equity Edge and Workiva experience preferred
