Job Summary
As we continue to scale the business at Equinix, sales planning will play an increasingly critical role in enabling our success. As a part of the Sales Planning, APAC team, you will collaborate with leadership to set annual and quarterly financial targets including quotas (by industry vertical, territory and sales rep), determine the optimal force deployment (territory definitions, resource allocation by territory etc.) and drive key account planning.
Responsibilities
Provide best-in-class support to multiple territory sales leaders to plan, manage, and execute their territory strategy.
Sales territory definition and design
Seek out sales territory design improvements
Management of account moves and headcount tracking
Management of sales territory in compliance with global sales coverage policies and maintain accurate sales territory management datasets.
Develop and deliver insightful and actionable data analysis to overachieve Equinix Sales objectives.
Isolate issues and challenges in our sales strategy projects, platforms, tools, and processes and develop recommendations to drive timely resolution.
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve/automate new and existing sales operations
Able to work cross-region to collaborate on projects, share best practices and accelerate adoption
Collaborate with Global Sale Operations on best practices for regional execution
Qualifications
Comfort with ambiguity and able to leverage knowledge of sales and sales operations to guide intuition to develop frameworks and support an environment of continuous improvement
Prior experience with strategic sales planning (TAM modelling, growth strategy, quota allocation, force deployment, key account planning) will be an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills for report writing and presenting. High competence in English is essential.
Track record of building strong relationships with key sales executives and cross-functional partners
Excel guru
Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant area, and min 4 years of business experience
Minimum 2 years experience with SFDC (Salesforce.com)
Experience with Anaplan (development, rolling out, using for planning) will be an advantage
