Job Profile Summary
The role will work closely with multiple internal cross functional teams regionally and deliver value by supporting proactively, provide advisory and being on top of the backlog orders' progress.
Responsibilities
Core
Determine and apply appropriate methodologies and tools for analysing a range of standard, functional and/or cross-functional issues.
Identify process gaps/issues and improvements pertaining to the global backlog policy and monthly global backlog exercise.
Manage and support the end-to-end regional backlog process and monthly backlog exercise.
Act as the primary point of contact for the regional cross-functional teams on the global backlog policy and monthly backlog exercise.
Manage day to day process escalations.
To look into internal ordering process bottlenecks and ensure timely billing.
Coordinate with regional cross-functional teams such as AE, CPM, SE, Ops, Finance tracking, providing advisory/insights pertaining to backlog.
Ensure global alignment through frequent discussions within the backlog team.
Drive productivity and efficiencies via end-to-end sales process improvements and optimisations.
Provide inputs on the global backlog reporting and metrics requirement.
Process and Policy Adoption and Reinforcement
Educate regional cross functional teams on new tools, processes, and policies
Delivers refresher trainings to address knowledge gaps
Communicates process improvements and enhancements to cross functional teams
Project Management
Supports project plans and resources, tracking timelines and ensuring status updates are periodically communicated with the regional cross functional teams
Coordinates with stakeholders to facilitate alignment through implementation and post-implementation stages
Identify risks/issues and proactively initiate discussions on workaround and permanent solutions.
Coordinate cross functional discussions to resolve issues & challenges and prioritisation efforts
Requirements
Degree in Business Studies, Business Management, Data Analytics or equivalent
Prior work experience of at least 4 year in the related field is required
Good interpersonal, communication skills and ability to visualise issues and communicate locally within the region, cross region or with different cross functional teams.
Ability to work proactively and independently to interact with stakeholders, understand needs, and present findings, and documents with clarity verbally and written
Bring critical insights and suggestions for continual improvement into process and solution design.
Meticulous and able to pick up fast.
Responsible, independent and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools
Self-driven team player with ability to learn quickly, and apply new tools and techniques
Experience documenting specifications, such as source to target mappings, and business rule and data validation requirements
Outstanding organisation, coordination and leadership skills
