As an Equinix Sales Engineer you are a technical consultant who is able to listen to customer requirements, align these with technical solutions and translate these solutions to partners.

Your principal job responsibilities will be:

General

  • Work closely with sales teams to earn new business and maintain existing customer relationships

  • Develop and present technical training

  • Provide the product manager with information and ideas about new products and services, based on market knowledge and customer demand, to enhance the Equinix product portfolio

Pre-Sales:

  • Lead technical tours and presentations detailing Equinix datacenter colocation and network interconnection services

  • Gather detailed requirements and design customer layouts

  • Support account managers on technical responses to RFP/RFI’s

  • Interface between departments to obtain approval during the pre-sales phase in conformity with company policies and procedures

Post-Sales

  • Provide ongoing support and control relevant post-sales activities, theses may include all follow-up pre-sales activities.

  • Provide installation details to Finance, Operations and Servicedesk

  • Serve as conduit for technical escalations

En tant que Junior Sales Engineer chez Equinix, vous êtes un consultant technique capable d’écouter les besoins clients, de vous aligner sur des solutions techniques et de transformer ces relations en partenariats.

VOS RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES AU TRAVAIL SERONT :

Général

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de vente pour explorer de nouvelles opportunités et maintenir les relations existantes avec les clients

- Développer et animer des formations techniques

- Fournir au Product Manager des informations et des idées sur les nouveaux produits et services en circulation, en fonction du marché et de la demande client, afin d'améliorer le portefeuille de produits Equinix.

Pre-sales :

- Diriger des visites techniques et des présentations détaillant l'interconnexion de réseaux ainsi que les services de ‘colocation’ disponibles au sein des data centers Equinix

- Recueillir les exigences détaillées et concevoir des plans d’action clients

- Assistance aux gestionnaires de compte pour les réponses techniques aux RFP / RFI

- Interface entre les services pour obtenir l’approbation pendant l’étape Pre-sales en restant conforme aux politiques et procédures de l'entreprise

Post-sales :

- Fournir un soutien continu et contrôler les activités post-sales pertinentes ; tout en veillant à inclure toutes les actions de suivi.

- Fournir les détails d’installation du client aux différents services internes

- Servir d’intermédiaire pour les problèmes techniques (être problem-solver et savoir réagir rapidement)

Et vous ?

Vous aurez une compréhension technique (diplôme dans les matières STEM) et excellerez dans un rôle de relation client. Nous recherchons des personnes maîtrisant parfaitement l'anglais et le français.
