The Global Technical Sales Team (GTST) Talent Development Program:

Our Global Technical Sales Team (GTST) are hiring and you will be a member our Talent Development Program. You will be a part of the next wave of talented individuals who have a mission to help improve the way we design and deliver technology solutions for our customers. This team will be a core component of our global pre-sales organisation and will be responsible for many of the critical components required for us to design technology solutions for our customers.   

You will learn about our customers and their technology, build and document solutions that power the digital economy, connect the internet, and form the foundation of a hybrid cloud world. We want diverse people who are proactive and collaborative, who want to play their role within an amazing team and come to work every day with an open mind and sleeves rolled up.  

We will provide you with a platform for your career to thrive and accelerate, and the opportunity to complete a world class pre-sales training program backed by a defined learning path, certifications and support network of mentors, peers and leaders within Equinix.   

Some duties include: 

  • Support our team of seasoned pre-sales Sales Engineers and Global Solution Architects and perform functions necessary to move from initial customer engagement and requirements gathering, through to the design, configuring and implementation of Equinix products and services.   

  • Form a critical function of the team, driving process improvement initiatives and cadence with internal stakeholders to execute these improvements, as well as contributing to other business improvement projects.  

  • Take a lead in developing and capturing critical information which forms the foundation of our global knowledge repository and fuels our ability to deliver consistent solutions for our customers at speed.  

Requirements: 

  • Computer Science or related degree in Cloud or Information Systems 

  • Communication skills to work with various teams internally and externally 

  • A positive attitude and a growth mindset 

  • The curiosity to learn!
