Responsibilities
Focus of this position will be to support Finance Operations Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team on the fast-growing Hyperscale business unit, which includes the following responsibilities:
Manage & Support annual budget process for Countries’ data center Operations, Regional data centers Ops
Manage Cash Capex forecast based on project timelines and vendors’ billing schedules.
Responsible for quarterly forecasts for submittal to Regional & Corporate FP&A teams to assist with financial guidance.
Review and analyze Regional Operations finance activities to ensure accurate month end accruals prior to submission to accounting.
Review actuals against budget/forecast with Operations teams to provide details for flux analysis.
Compile monthly/quarterly reporting package for business partners, identify and investigate monthly budget / forecast vs. actual variances
Continuous improvement of Operations financial reporting processes as business requirements evolve.
Work closely with other functional groups, such as FP&A, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Tax, & Legal to ensure both financial and legal compliance.
Liaison with various Operations team members to promote business alignment with company policies.
Analyze and interpret business trends to drive Operations and Construction financial strategy.
Participate in cross-functional Finance and Operations/Construction teams’ programs to develop reporting/process changes required to improve business visibility/efficiency.
Influences decisions made by leaders across the business (cross functionally) and work to understand the business needs and deliver on those needs.
Special projects that may arise for Finance or related programs.
Perform ad-hoc analysis or other duties as needed.
Qualifications ·
minimum 8 years of Finance experience required, preferably in FP&A or Accounting
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
CPA certification is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to details and results focused.
Ability to deliver thoughtful, accurate and timely work product.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to speak Japanese or Korean is a plus as the new hire will be interacting with Japanese and Korean stakeholders
Oracle experience preferred.
Hyperion / PBCS experience preferred.
