Job Summary: The Program Manager will be responsible for program delivery of multiple related projects while building effective relationships with stakeholders.  The role will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects from start to finish, requiring collaboration and coordination across various functional areas to deliver seamless execution to enhance customer and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading diverse, cross-functional teams in the design, development, execution of complex tactical initiatives, develop comprehensive project and communication plans, and support the change management that accompanies the implementation of new technology, process, and behavior within an established and matrixed organization. The ability to influence and negotiate, drive adoption, and execute with a strong sense of urgency is critical. The candidate will also preferably have customer-facing experience, as well as the ability to assimilate key insights in efforts to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Complex / Large Programs

  • Experience with Sales and Marketing Business Functions

  • Experience gathering and managing requirements / and prioritizing requirements

  • Experience with Reporting

  • Agile Experience is a must

  • Strong Leadership, IT and Communication Skills

  • Plus: Knowledge of Selenium /JIRA

  • Functional Expertise (Quote to Cash, Cloud Transformation)

  • Manage large scale, complex, multi-site and multi-regional, high visibility customer deployments involving cross-functional and cross-regional project teams

  • Apply a range of approaches to planning and gathering information in which to develop/facilitate/lead more complex Business Cases, plans and schedules (i.e. ROI)

  • Manage project request submission process

  • Competent in the use of planning tools, consider and develop cross functional plans

  • Scope technology programs

  • Develop project charters and obtain signoff from stakeholders

  • Develop overall program schedule in conjunction with customer requirements

  • Technology Project Planning and Execution (Single Program with a start date and end date. (Plan, Execute, Close)

  • Manage multiple workstreams at the same time

  • Facilitate project retrospective meetings

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities

  • Lead effort estimation process across various teams

  • Manage IT PMO Change Management Process Technology Program and Portfolio Management (On-going program with multiple projects and teams Identify, Change, Empower, Monitor)

  • Maintain IT PMO Backlog

  • Lead programs which comprise multiple Agile/Project teams

  • Align projects within the program

  • Identify and resolve program level issues with cross functional teams

  • Manage program external dependencies

  • Track project financials (cost and benefits)

  • Develop program status slides and maintain updates on weekly basis

  • Conduct Steering Committee meetings

  • Drive, monitor and control program level commitments

  • Manage SOW, Vendor financials/Contracts as required.

  • Produce IT PMO reports and dashboards

  • Support Technology Project Methodologies and Tools (Methodologies such as Agile, SDLC, Scrum. Experience with PM Tools such as PPM, Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, BI and SharePoint)

  • Communicate IT PMO Framework to all IT PMO Stakeholders

  • Define IT PMO project lifecycle processes

  • Develop and maintain communication plans / RACI

  • Develop and maintain project templates

  • Mentor junior project/program team members in project management

  • Responsible for program delivery of multiple related projects required for a specific business    functional strategy

 Stakeholder Management

  • Work with numerous stakeholders and may work with government/governance bodies

  • Manage internal company wide stakeholders on project teams and hold them accountable for meeting commitments

  • Understand stakeholder needs and build effective relationships

  • Demonstrate influencing skills to achieve solutions and remediate challenging stakeholder situations

Communications

  • Use a variety of communication methods to deliver information relevant to the audience and project needs

  • Awareness of standardized tools and template requirements and is a 'go to' person for feedback on the development of project/program management standards

  • Meet with and present to customer executives at the program level

Risk / Issue Management

  • Approach to risk management spans projects level up to strategic risk management where required

  • Track issues & risks

  • When faced with issues apply lateral thinking and analyzes available information to solve problems and engage with teams to resolve

Resource Management (people, finances etc.)

  • Ability to problem solve resource/budgetary issues with internal teams and external suppliers and conclude disputes successfully and independently

Qualifications:

  • 10-15+ years of experience

  • PMP, PgMP, Agile and Scrum Master preferred

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $98,000- $132,000per year  20% bonus target.”
