Job Summary: The Digital Workplace Experience team is looking for an experienced design engineer who will be responsible for helping research, evaluate, deploy, and adopt new productivity and collaboration platforms that help our global colleagues work seamlessly together in this new, rapidly evolving hybrid workplace
The ideal candidate has solid experience in designing, deploying, and adopting global productivity and collaboration tools and platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, Slack, etc. at a medium to large global enterprise. Someone who enjoys a fast paced, constantly changing environment but is also able to successfully deliver global solutions that drive a more seamless and frictionless colleague experience.
Responsibilities
Building and evolving an intuitive and frictionless 360 collaboration colleague experience
Productivity and collaboration subject matter expert who can interact with customers, senior management, and vendor partners
Helps drive governance and leads project management activities for the productivity and collaboration product lines to ensure high user adoption
Implements, maintains, and evolves lifecycles for both current and new productivity and collaboration applications and platforms
Helps to create and drives innovative colleague productivity and collaboration concepts to real world solutions
Works with product owners, stakeholders, and developers to define and deliver high-value productivity and collaboration applications and platforms
Key focus areas
Researching, designing, and enabling a world class and seamless collaboration and communication experience for our global colleagues
Lead the adoption of our current high performing collaboration and communication tools and platforms to ensure we’re realizing a high value
Understanding how Equinix colleagues and partners from around the world work today and have the vision and foresight to transform the future of their digital workplace
Qualifications
4+ years collaboration system engineering/administration of SaaS based collaboration platforms (Teams, Slack, Zoom, Cisco) in a Microsoft ecosystem for a globally diverse medium to large scale enterprise
Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience
Recent experience with supporting and managing an enterprise scale content management solution (Box, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.) is a plus
Proven success in leading diverse project teams and partners providing real world solutions to business problems that achieve high adoption and colleague satisfaction scores
Ability to create, foster and grow productivity and collaboration vendor partnerships
