Job Summary: Responsible for developing programs and project plans for customer-facing product notifications informing Product direction, product release updates, and establishing channels for collaboration with Product including communities, beta programs, webinars, and more. Liaise, align, and partner with other customer engagement programs and teams in order to move important initiatives forward in a programmatic manner.
Equinix is seeking a driven individual to join our Product Communication Team. You will collaborate with creative and passionate people in an agile work environment while helping bridge the technical and business worlds. In order to do this successfully, it’s essential to be able to break down complex concepts into simple solutions.
Coordinate effective Product related communications from content creation to approval, translation, and analytics
Manage In-App Portal messaging content and process to provide targeted relevant content to our users that drives product adoption and loyalty
Develop strategies to test the effectiveness of messaging and drive higher consumption of email and In-App messages
Review and analyze content as part of a collaboration with Product Managers and Documentation team to ensure messaging is technically accurate, concise, and consistent across all channels
Stand up effective beta program structures for new products and features for customers and partners
Evaluate and seek to identify initiatives that may help inform the Product team of customer needs and use cases
Look for opportunities to augment the Product Release Readiness program with webinars and other online programs to engage with customers and partners for learning and input
Evaluate which areas, as part of customer experiences, to support and establish pop-up or mini-programs to listen to the voice of the customer in order to effectively support product direction
Design the right content to be built out and shared on a customer community while creating engagement and excitement for product collaboration on the community
Cultivate relationships in a matrix organization while collaborating with cross-functional team members to drive the execution of program tasks and deliverables. This is including but is not limited to, consulting with partners on program requirements, proactively seeking feedback to improve partner satisfaction with schedules, delivery, and quality
Communicate with a broader group of stakeholders beyond the program team via standard communication tools and templates (e.g. in-person, emails, status reports)
Facilitate product impact assessments, requirements definition, trade-offs, resource stabilizing, and change control
Create, maintain, and report high-level program/project dashboards and metrics
7+ years experience in Product Communications for cloud services
Experience from driving effective initiatives with customers – preferably within the Cloud space
Strong interest in understanding the customer’s perspective while maintaining their voice when defining or building out new programs
Strong program management, planning, and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity
Ability to concisely convey complex details to a broad audience, internally and externally at all levels
Strong PowerPoint presentation skills

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $89K – $124K per year with 20% bonus target.
