Job Summary: In this position you will be responsible for providing operational support on the Procurement process to our internal customers within Equinix. With responsibility for the Americas region, you will be the point of contact for any queries that cannot be resolved by the offshore Procurement Helpdesk. As well as operational support, you will also be responsible for providing support to the Gobal Procurement function on savings management and reporting. You will be the point of contact offering guidance on how Equinix Procurement savings should be reported and how to use the savings management system. This is an exciting part of the role allowing you to collaborate with the internal Procurement Team members and leadership.
Responsibilities
Regional Operational Procurement Support
Provide system support and training to Equinix colleagues and Procurement team members on how to use the ERP (Coupa) and how to manage Purchase orders within the Equinix Policies and Procedural framework.
Supporting super users of the ERP (Coupa) on how to raise requisitions.
Resolve operational issues that are assigned, for example issues with PO quantity mismatch.
Continually improve the process by routinely assess most common operational issues and updating training or providing suggestions on how to improve.
Perform user acceptance testing within the ERP (Coupa) for any system updates and upgrades within the Americas region.
Work closely with Payables team and Finance teams to resolve PO related invoice issues.
Global Procurement Savings Support
First line of defense for any queries related to savings reporting in Savings tool, escalating to technical support when required.
Creation of self-service training to guide users and approvers on the Savings process and any updates to the Savings tool.
Management of the Procurement Savings Playbook and expert in Equinix savings definitions and treatment of savings, guiding Procurement when required.
Qualifications
1-3 years’ experience in procurement, preferably with a procurement operations background.
Experience of working within an ERP like Oracle or Coupa is preferred.
Understanding of the source to pay (S2P) process, sourcing, contract management and requisition to receipt.
Understand Procurement savings types (hard savings and cost avoidance).
Must work well with global cross functional teams.
Experience in Excel and Smartsheet a plus.

For CO residents: In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for this role is $51K – $72K per year with 15% bonus target.
