Job Summary
Based in Paris, this role is responsible for working with focus partners overseeing the development and execution of Partner marketing plans in support of driving brand preference with partner sellers and driving demand generation. In addition, the role will work closely with Field Marketing and Programs Marketing teams to integrate partners into their demand generation plans to help fuel bookings growth. In addition to activities in France, the role will also support selected EMEA and Global partner marketing activities.
The Partner Marketing Manager reports directly to the Director of EMEA Partner Marketing but is an extended team member of the Field, Programs & Alliances Marketing teams as well as the French Partner and Direct Sales Teams. The role will work alongside a talented group of partner marketers who are consistently recognized for their marketing excellence and demonstration of Equinix values.
Responsibilities
France Partner Marketing Alignment: Be the point of contact for global and regional prioritized partners in France, working alongside field & programs marketing to drive pipeline
Marketing Strategy & Plan: In collaboration with key partners, develop a strong marketing strategy in support of country objectives
Marketing Execution: Enable partners to build online, offline and social media activities with sales programs to maximize marketing effectiveness by optimizing execution on activities for maximum ROI in generating leads for deal-registration and pipeline creation
Liaise with Corporate Marketing teams: Work closely with the Global Partner Engagement team, PR, Social Media, Creative Services, Field/Product Marketing teams to leverage their programs with target partners
Developing and delivering highly targeted prospect pursuit plans in partnership with Field Marketing
Champion of tools: Proactively promote adoption of tools such as Equinix’s Partner Central Portal, Marketing Demand Center, Partner Directory and Marketplace to partners
Marketing Mix: Test and try new marketing tactics that drive preference with sellers and drive demand generation with end users including tactics such as social, digital, brand, PR, and videos
Content development: Assist partners with building their Joint Value Propositions, Sales Enablement & Customer content
Align with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with local Partner Sales & Technical team members to understand their account objectives and align on marketing activities
Budget Management: Manage marketing funds and budget
Reporting: Track and report on activities on a quarterly basis including results, budget, leads and bookings
The successful candidate will also participate and sometimes lead EMEA or global level partner marketing projects and activities, such as Partner Awards, Partner Forums, etc
The role will be based in a normal office environment with travel c25% to other Equinix Offices and Partner Office locations
Qualifications
Proven experience preferred in B2B IT/telecoms, hi-tech company with experience working in a partner marketing role
Marketing expertise: Track record of executing mix of marketing activities with Cloud, Technology & Reseller Partners such as: Enablement and Demand Gen Webinars, LinkedIn campaigns, Content Syndication, Highly targeted customer events, Thought Leadership campaigns
Strong digital marketing skills with demonstratable skills and experience with Account Based Marketing
Great at relationship building: With lots of cross functional stakeholders to engage with, strengths in proactively building relationship is a must
Effective communicator and collaborator: Comfortable working in matrix environments, quickly build trusts with remote teams and works to ensure others' success
Self-starter, inspires others around them, can lead several initiatives at once, detail-oriented, agile, brilliant communicator, strong collaborator
Fluent in English and French
